On that lob you are talking about from Edwards to Gobert. Edwards actually mimicked Doncic and locked the defender behind him on his hip and as the center took a step forward, Ant lobbed it. Very happy to see him do this.

I hope Ant starts to mix his shooting with some dunks and layups. He would be unstoppable
Also, I'm so happy to see boys are getting along and finding ways to improve their game

He needs to be careful as well with his body! Shooting 3s is a safer option and it makes him elite 🔥💙🐺

I hear ya and from a visual/fan standpoint I totally agree. But unfortunately that would get us less points. After going down a long Rabbit Hole yesterday I figured something out that explains why he/we takes so many threes. Basically, if you or your team is shooting above 35% you need to take more threes because three's above 35% equal out to more points then if you were to take 2's at leauge average. If you shoot below 35% you are actually getting less points than if you were to shoot 2's at League average. Ant was shooting a whopping 43% 3's before the game last night. To be honest Ant should be shooting nothing but threes literally if you want more points. It's really that easy. Above 35% and you get more points. Below 35% and you will get less. It all depends on if you are a good 3-point shooting team or player. It's not my opinion it's a mathematical fact unfortunately because I do like seeing more jams. Anyways...

@@nicolesmith2442See my comment below to understand why he should actually take more 3's.

Rudy should not be allowed to post up anymore. I'm serious. He will draw an offensive foul because he constantly throws his elbows out, or he will get stripped because he cannot dribble well.
Finch should be on his aZZ and require him to kick the ball out each time he somehow ends up with the ball.

@@thedoubtfuls he needs a lot more reps. Tbh I think he needed to stay in college just to bulk and perfect his craft. Knecht is a result of staying in college and working on YOUR strengths. The one and done years, I hope, are over.

Not really worried about our defense thus far. At 4-3, our defensive rating is 111.5 which is rank 13. Last season with that rating we would have been ranked 5th in the league.
So far this season 5 teams have a better rating than what our number was last season and we basically had a historic level defense. Either they are all anomalys or the entire league saw what we did and are actually trying to play defense this season. I am going to assume the former.
Also we basically have the same exact offensive rating this season as last season. Last year though we ranked 17. So far we are ranked 11. So offense league wide is down so far this season.

lots of teams always start out the season with blowouts and lockdown defense, their def rating will even out as the season goes along
