Never a slack line on your vids. 👊🙏
My favorite fishing youtuber by a long shot. Keep it up bud!
Love it, thanks man!
Awesome catching that shark and that aircraft flying over!
Yes it was!
Very nice
I'm jealous of the warmth
Thanks for the video
Don't forget to spray that spare
tire and wheel where it's rusty,
and the bolts for the mount.
The first time you need to remove
it, the bolts and nuts will be rusted
tight, and if Murphy rode along, it'll
be dark and rainy when you need
to get to the spare with no time
to waste
Great advice! Thanks. I always check the PSI but I definitely need to do that too!
BTDT with my truck spare.
I need to lube my spare carrier
my own self after this freeze gets
past. I'm not a fan of the side of
the road. Lonely place to be

Looks like too much fun!
A bad day fishin' still beats a good day at work! And you, sir, are making me want to go fishin!
The zigzag motion of those hex jigs drives them nuts. Great video!
Yes they do thanks !!!
You said a while back you were going to do some charters in the new boat. Have you given that anymore consideration? Nice catch!!
Yeah I would like that too
Definitely would be interested in that.

It's good to see you have such a productive day. You piss me off when you let such a good eating fish go (humor) I greatly enjoyed the video.

That's great to hear! Thank you for watching and I'm always learning too!
Perfect weather , great video.
Gotta love catching those Spanish on light tackle, they are one of my favorite species. Great vid, watched it all the way to the end. Keep up the good work!
I love em ! Thanks Capt!
Bama saltwater so inspirational man!
It's really cool how you can see that little blacktip breaking the top of the water out there in the distance !!!!
Love your videos
Headed to the Beau after thanksgiving
Leave some reds in the gulf for me. I’m 65 & you’ve taught me a lot & especially love the air shows. Hope Keesler is buzzing & Bama ty sir for your service.
Awesome video. Some nice fish. You have a fantastic channel.
A crusher of a day. Very nice.
Great trip...congratulations on your channel, you are doing great
Thank you so much for telling us what gear you are using. For us inlanders that only ocean fish occasionally it is very helpful.
Glad to help!
Love watching your videos
Glad you like them!
I have said it before and I’ll say it again. Great video man. 9 days and I’m in bama full time!
Whoop Whoop!! Thanks
@@BamaSaltwater heck yeah man!

Been waiting all mornin for a video! I’m packing to move that way next week!! Hoping to stuff a flounder for thanksgiving
Outta season bro
@@daltonjohnson3289 well dam he was catching them a couple episodes ago?! What’s a good alternative for a coastal thanksgiving feast?
@@cartersboxerandbulldogbabies Ole Redfish and Sheepshead taste like fresh sweet crab!!
The Flounder are out of season the entire month of Nov. in Alabama waters
@@BamaSaltwater Yes I remember you saying that the season closed on them in November now. I’ll catch and freeze me one next year! Lol
got a new slogan for ya.
life's an ocean ... jig it!!!
lol
A great start to a thanksgiving break!
It sure is!
@@BamaSaltwater yessir I caught my first snook on flats today! God bless
action packed trip with the shoreline in sight. very cool, those jigs get it done
Thanks 👍
best time to fish, god vid bama,,staysafe..
Nice batch of fish! You sure got a lot of Spanish mackeral! There 😍 beautiful coming out of the water!
Spanish mackeral are good eating! I have caught several of them myself. I really felt myself fishing just watching you. I love the way you talk about your lures you use. I thought I saw you use your right hand if so I been praying that the Lord heal your hand from the army accident. Can you let me know which hand you are using is it your right hand?
great content!!! love watching your catches, when you coming down to come fishing with your old 1SG in Navarre.
Awesome video sir I do love a nice black tip shark steak they Grill up really good I also don't want to lose fingers myself so I understand stay safe stay warm can't wait for the next video
My trailer jack failed after 10 years of daily use. That’s when I learned that I should have greased it once in awhile. I don’t know how you’d do that except by removing the top cap or using a needle tip on a grease gun and force it into the hole by the crank where the head gears are.
I knew I recognized the stair step condo near the Flora-Bama/Perdido Key area.
I just got home(Maryland) from staying in Fairhope this past week. It was cold and windy, but a lot of the fishing spots were empty besides me. I wish I could’ve gotten on some reds or trout, but the snapper bite was good and picked up a few random gulf species at the Pass. Hopefully next time I’m down there I will book a charter and get on the water!
My son and I love to watch your videos. What type of fish are you catching right now in this cooler weather in Alabama?
Wow nice one!
Another great vid!
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!
Been slaying the mahi on those jigs recently!
Heck yeah, they love em!
Hey bro love your videos keep up the hard work
Have you ever taken a trip to Sarasota Florida to catch some Snook?
Yay!!!!
What a great day of wrecking the Spanish. I love eating blacktips too. They're absolutely delicious.
Yes they are!
Yes sirrr great video man as always
Appreciate it 🤙🏼
Great content as always, I'm wanting to do a little shark fishing when I come down this winter.
You preach to me about NOT using frayed leaders then there you go NOT retying. Mhm. lol
😂😂😂😂. You kno ur strengths for sure.
IKR lol
Those would be great to smoke and make a dip!
Yes! I love em fresh
Love watching your videos! Can you give us bigginers tips on how to maximize casting distance? Thanks!
Casting distance = Quality of the rod you’re using. If you’re using a wet noodle for a rod it’s not going to have the backbone you need to get a good casting distance. There’s a brand called 13 they have a blackout series rod that I picked up from my local tackle shop for $40 it’s not top of the line by any means but it’s helped my casting distance tremendously. Mine is a 7’2” medium fast action. If you can find one give it a try 😊
@@ModernDayTribesman Thanks for your input, also, if my lures are too light for the rod, should I put split shots on the line? Will it affect the lures action? Thanks
Would love to see some grouper fishing!
You and me both!
Killin it killer
Awesome vid. 😊😊😊👍
Have you ever done a shark catch, clean, and cook?
yes! Here ya go: ruclips.net/video/c0pRp9Li65A/видео.html
@@BamaSaltwater I appreciate it brother, it only took me a few minutes to realize I did see this one. Also noticed I had commented on it too.

@@BamaSaltwater love your content brother. From Tampa Florida. Been using some of your techniques and they work great!!
@@livingsurflife Great to hear man!! Thanks !
Florida don’t have size limit on blacktip 😊
Good to know!
Nice vid
Also first
sharks are so underrated to catch
When you go from Alabama water to Florida water do need a Florida fishing license ?
Yes!
Bama do you plan on adding a Bimini top?
Not at the moment
So can you catch your limit in Florida water and then move into Alabama water and do the same?
Not quite ( Disclaimer: I am not a Game Warden lol) I believe, it's whatever state you physically "land" them in. Since I launched in Alabama, I believe it can only bring back an Alabama limit.
Former 1st Cav 2/5 here and huge fan out of Austin, Tx. Would you be interested in a charter? More than happy to support you however I can!
Would you use the boeshield on youre rod and reel combos? If not how do you keep your combos from getting locked up from the saltwater?
Yes. I use the smaller Dropper for all of my reels : amzn.to/3tKUNk0
Boeshield? Is it like Reel magic?..
I don't think there is a minimum size limit on black tips in Florida. I know Alabama does but I think Florida doesnt.
Yup that's what anglerup would say
Can u make a video using slip bobbers
I have some planned !
Gonna put your Ttop back on?
Not anytime soon. I love not being blown around by the wind, and the freedom of casting. The sun protection is nice, but I usually wear UPF clothing to help
If only fishing was that easy...
would a 3500 penn slammer be ok for surf fishing? or should i get something a bit bigger?
It'd be fine! I'd load it up with some 20 lb braid
@@BamaSaltwater thank you very much! and thank you for all your content
What do where around this time of year for kayaking
Normally fish creeks and rivers!
Fyi when handling sharks turn them belly up and they will calm right down
What rod and reel are you using?
Shimano Stradic and St Croix Avid Inshore
@@BamaSaltwater thanks for the info I was undecided between the stradic and the BG Mq and decided with the BG Mq as for the rod I decided to go with the 13 fishing fate green the st croix rod is a very nice rod but I got the 13 on a really good deal.
How is it that flat? Unless that wasn’t today
It was not today. It was a few days ago. It takes time to edit and upload. North Winds will make the beach really flat to about 1/2 mile out then it gets really rough!
@@BamaSaltwater nice, I’ve been wanting to get out but yeah it seemed to rough offshore, but that near shore is fun also, I hope to get out soon. Great video
Can we get a deer hunt this year?
Possibly!! I had a few videos last year but had some malfunctions
@@BamaSaltwater cool, cool.
How do you cook them
I love fried Spanish Mackerel. But really, dip is probably my favorite . Here's a good recipe in the video : ruclips.net/video/n5eQfuh7b0Q/видео.html
What reel is that?
Shimano Stradic 4000 and 5000
I believe the first shark was the spinner. Just didn’t jump….
Yes it was ! A dark spot on the anal fin is a dead giveaway!
I have never liked to eat Spanish. They are crazy oily and gamey to me. Fun to catch though
I think they are delicious when fresh. I hardly, if ever, freeze them or keep them cooled for more than a day or two
@@BamaSaltwater maybe that's why. On our trips when we trolled for Spanish, we would clean them and throw them in the freezer to eat later. We would always eat everything else first
@@jnutt383838 100% why!! Next time, bleed them, bury in ice. And eat the same day. It'll change how you think about em 100% !!
I would like to go out on your boat with you one day, I am willing to buy the gas ,bait& food and drinks for the trip. Would appreciate a response

Love the videos 1st comment I believe 🛑❤️❤️

See you took your t-top off a while back…tired of banging your rod against it while casting ? I love mine but they do seem to get in the way at times…
Yes! And also so I could get back in the creeks as well!
That is not a Spanish mackerel that is a school mackerel
