It was nothing special either, I remember thinking it was spam actually, but it was too specific to be spam. I received the invite to RSVP around the 1st of the month, to attend the Sephoria preview party. Once I rsvp, I received a confirmation email, and at the venue I had to show the email and my Sephora card at the door.

So if I buy a ticket for Friday can you still attend on Saturday to get the samples or is it you buy the ticket for a day and you have to do the master class and the samples all in that day/time frame they give you?
Hi Leanne! So yes, you can only attend the time frame and masterclass for your ticket. Personally I don’t think 3 hrs is enough time, because there’s so much happening. So my best advice would be to be strategic with your time, don’t get distracted at the entrance lol work your way to the back/end of the venue (that’s where all the best brands were last year) and work your way back to the front. Have a mental list of the brands you really want to visit as well, because once you’re there you want to go to every booth lol This way you don’t miss anything you really wanted. Let me know if you have any other questions 😘

Hi there! So yes, you've got the jest of it. You only have 3 hours to do everything, and the swag bag is given to you when you leave. Or at least that's how it was last year. When you enter, if they don't give you a Sephora shopping bag, you'll see attendants standing around with them. Your task will be to fill those bags! Some brands handed out full sized products as well last year! You definitely won't have enough time for everything, so try to have a list of brands in mind you'd like to visit. & don't worry about going alone, you're going to be too busy and excited, and rushing around to even notice! Enjoy it and make the best of it! 😘
Hi there! From what I’m seeing, the silver ticket from last year is pretty much the general admission ticket this year. The VIP ticket gives your early entry to the venue and master classes, access to the lounge, and a larger swag bag. But the VIP ticket is still only for 1 session, unlike last year. I actually bought a ticket for the second day earlier. I live in Atlanta, but I plan on making it a staycation weekend and getting a nice hotel to make it more of an event. I wouldn’t have thought about going but I just managed the BeautyCon activations at Essence and saw just how great the swag can be so I felt like I needed to go, lol

Treat yourself 🙌 the swag bags are definitely worth it on their own, but if you maximize your time and get to as many vendors as possible then you’re really making out like a bandit 😂 idk,, I’m convincing myself of going! I purchased a Silver Ticket for the Second Session for Friday. Due to the Emergency Weather Warning it was cancelled. I received the first email which stated the bags would be mailed out to us. Then I received a second email to request a refund. I applied and got my refund but in that email I explained I just wanted the bag. No one answered my question and no follow up email stated if we would get the bag. I’m hoping that we do get the bag because I feel I lost out on the experience. Photo opportunity, games, learning about skin and beauty products, etc. I was meeting up with a girl friend and it was going to be a girls night out.

It’s actually insane how unprepared they were for this. The worst part, like you said is missing out on the actual experience.. BUT if they decide to do this again next year, definitely try to go. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and make next year even better!
