Great video!! Started the journey at 63. I had been coloring since I was 16. Time to stop!😊 Was natural for a while. Now growing it out with a relaxer. Still trying to figure out the perfect length. 🥰 I love my gray❤❤.
Sharron, This is FANTASTIC! Just the sheer recognition of all the emotional phases! Everyone's journey is different, but whatever our choice - to embrace or not - we can still support each other. Thanks for sharing💕💕
So Glad to have come across your channel. I'm rocking 53 and I decided about 3 years ago to fully embrace my gray. It was scary at first because a Friend talked down on it but I'm glad I stood strong in my decision and I'm glad I didn't let the wayward opinions of others make me regress back to Miss Clairol because I was so tired of it. I feel Beautiful, Strong and just a little Sassy! Now do I always feel this way, of course not but I'm going to ride this roller coaster until the ride stops. No turning back!
Yessss…Bayyybe, Good for You. You stuck and stayed and so glad you feel beautiful and strong and keep going because then you’ll feel a lot of Sassy…lol! Yes you may not feel like that everyday but if it’s most days then that’s what’s important. Continue your journey and enjoy the ride! ♥️💪🏾🎢🎢
❤ Love your channel but I went straight in with it....got tired of coloring and the grey hair won I'm 45 and I will be so glad when my hair turns white as snow....😊
Thank you so much 🤗 That makes me feel so proud. I appreciate you watching and sharing your feedback!!!! ♥️🙏🏾 I call my bideos my babies. I LOVE giving birth to them so that they help inspire, uplift and empower anyone watching!! 💪🏾
Thank you for sharing this very informative video. I would love to share my journey, but the way I've come into my grey/ salt and pepper journey is not for the faint at heart. But much thanks to you ❤
You can do it! Thanks for sharing that TRUTH…lol! Yess email me and we can chat to potentially share your journey with the community. I’m sure it will inspire others on the journey!!! Oh…and thanks for watching! ♥️🙏🏾
I'm 68 years old. A year and a half ago, I decided to Loc my hair. I'm mingle grey 🩶 and decided not to color my hair. I never colored. I would wear wigs if I wanted a change. I don't do that anymore. I try to find different styles for my Loc Journey. So glad to meet you.👑🩶👑🩶👑🩶
My gray hair frustrates me. It needs so much moisture and so much more attention than i desire to give it. Overall i love my salt and pepper natural hair and im trying to be patient with both.
Yes it does take some getting used to especially in the beginning. I’m challenged with wearing it natural it’s so much more work then when it’s relaxed but I do love a little texture in it. It can make you look dusty lol!!! But you gotta work with it right!!!!
Thank you for this video I'm still working through the roll-coaster I but try a to make it fun I hope the younger ladies watch this it can help them to 🙏🏻💕
I was all in until I (57) was sitting next to my 91 year old mother and someone genuinely asked if we were sisters. She does look younger than her age but still, it felt like a gut punch. I’d love to shave my head but I’d look like Uncle Fester from the Adams Family. I’m jealous of you ladies with nicely shaped heads!
😂😂😂Girlll…I can’t with you lol!!! Don’t’ beat yourself all the way up sis!!!! There is a perfect shape for your God given head! You are tooo funny you really got me laughing over here!!! Sooo descriptive! Well thanks for sharing and watching the video sis! ♥️💪🏾There is hope for you too…YOU GOT THIS!
@@gograybechic You’re awesome and I love your energy and outlook! I will say one cool thing was when I got together with my old college friends and roommates after 35 years apart and one said to me: “I’m so glad you’re going with the gray” as she was too. No knock to those that don’t want to but I felt like those of us who decided to “age gracefully” not only looked more natural but seemed to be more comfortable in our own skin than those who were still trying to look “youthful”. Not sure if it’s the chicken or the egg, maybe being comfortable with ourselves let us be comfortable with going gray or if it’s the other way around, but it felt there was a stronger level of confidence in us semi-gray ladies.
