a) Implement comprehensive anti-corruption laws that criminalize all forms of corruption, including bribery, embezzlement, abuse of power, and money laundering with a minimum of 5 years without bail. b) He should Impose severe penalties for corruption offenses, including lengthy prison sentences, substantial fines, and confiscation of illicitly obtained assets.
c) Enforce a lifetime ban from holding public office for individuals convicted of corruption offenses. Conduct regular and random audits of government departments and agencies to identify and address potential corruption risks.

Why teargas peaceful protesters? - Kenya largely has one of the most illiterate police officers the world over, police who exist as robots for government use. Most are not rational thinkers, have no ability to analyze and or understand complex situations, can't organize, plan ahead and have no ability to think before they act. From colonial times and years thereafter of being told how and what to do means they have no skill or capacity to think for themselves and or do anything that is humane. In essence, a Kenya police officer is nothing more than a armed 'thing' in uniform, used by government officials to carry out their dirty work. If a country like Rwanda or Uganda attacked Kenya, most of these armed 'things' in uniform would offer little to no resistance or defense capability, would run away, and the attacking units would quickly overwhelm and be in control of all of Kenya in a matter of hours.

This is the only way Central Kenya regains power without an election. By ousting Ruto through protests, leading to a military takeover. If Ogola had not been killed, the situation would likely have shifted to Nyanza once Ruto is ousted. I personally doubt the president's involvement in Ogolla's death. He seems to be a convenient scapegoat for someone to exploit and attribute the blame to the president. The ongoing protests no longer seem solely motivated by the finance bill. If that were the case, dialogue should have been pursued after the president's agreement not to sign the bill as demanded by Kenyans. It feels like seizing power through clandestine means.

It’s quite obvious why they didn’t mention it actually…because the opposition had nothing to gain from violence…peaceful demonstrations last week were already doing the opposition’s job better than they ever could without them lifting any more than a finger. Besides, there have always been peaceful demonstrations until the police intervene with violence.
