Fantastic review, I'm with you I'm always a bit sceptical with de-icer as most damage the rubber trim and wipers, at last a de-icer that doesn't do damage, well worth getting, especially when you struggle to scrape windows as I do. OK so it's nigh on £10 so what, it's way cheaper than replacing blades a couple of times a winter.
When I live up north in the US, the biggest issue for me for wipers were they were getting stuck to ice and ruining them by taking out little chunks of rubber.
@unitedhybrid187 in the UK we don't get really deep winters anymore, the younger generation don't get the experience with the weather. Most of our de-icer destroys wipers, so when Reg found this one, it was the answer. You could always put a piece of cardboard under them.
