I love watching Jonah get bullied. I don't even dislike him as a character, there's just something about him that makes you feel like "Yeah, it's gonna happen man..." XD
I love how Amy always picked on Jonah even when they were dating, yet whenever Jonah said something about factually true about Amy she would always be offended and couldn’t take the heat.
She could never take the heat lmao. I think it's a really funny characterization like no matter how much she may think she's the "straight man" to the chaos she still has her own chaotic quirk
Thats what I was thinking lol I loved that they added that bc it’s so true if she knew she was marrying this man in like 5 yrs time I think she would have had a heart attack lol
Jonah with the robber gets me every time. I kind of f with the robber's energy though. Edit: This actor was literally an angel in another show. I guess he has one of those faces.
Jonah’s “mistreatment” was not real. He was a top dog in the store and everyone clearly liked and respected him, they just liked to make light fun of him. Sandra was just bullied, until she found her own flow.
@@quinn9725 I get that but it is so overused, don't get me wrong I love the show but I feel like when they run out of ideas they just fill time with petty insults towards Jonah and amy and it makes some characters seem like assholes
Yes he does get mad fun of a lot but everyone gets made fun of, and he also grew up rich and his personality is different from most character so of course he is going to get picked on.
What? People that hot don't get bullied in real life. Is his hotness ever adressed? Do they bully him because they want to have sex with him? I don't think the show is very realistic.
They 'bully' him because his first day at work, he came off as this white privileged, 'cultured' pretty boy whose eagerness to fit in came off as condescending (he literally tells Amy, who he didn't know was a co-employee, that 'he doesn't look like the type to work in a place like this'). It's realistic, because yeah while he's cute, he does give off upper-middle class vibes while working a minimum wage job - so while everyone else is desperate to keep their jobs to put food on the table (and have become cynical because, let's be real, working customer service for so long can make you so cynical), preppy Jonah is over here just 'deigning' to work. Jonah's a good guy, and he means well, but as someone who used to work minimum wage, co-workers like him tend to rub the wrong shoulders, and no amount of cuteness will outweigh the annoyance they bring.

him being a politician by the end of the series made so much sense to his character
Jonah and Mitchell Pritchett from Modern Family have literally the same energy lmao

love Drop Dead Diva
This just makes the whole show funner for me. And I watch it 25/7
omg same
i thought i was watching it too much so i took a week long break. abstinence is hard guys😭
Dina calling Jonah a castrated garden gnome sends me every single time
Garret made him only say curated once a week and he obeys 😂
The only person more mistreated than Jonah is Sandra, and I kinda relate to both oh well

This is really good I’ve been waiting for someone to do something like this such a good show

Jonah is one of the best characters
Idk why people always trashed on Jonah, sure sometimes it is appropriate but a lot of times it is for small dumb stuff like his hair or his race.

Then he became Pied Piper's legal attorney

They didn't bully him enough down there in sf

Jonah was way too good for Amy.
yup. i fell in love with this dork.
I’m here for the Jonah slander.
You can tell he was a really good actor because he generally managed to make me cringe every time
Sometimes he asks for it but I still like Jonah a lot as a character. Sometimes the bullying is justified but it rarely ever goes over the line
don't take more 🥺
My type of man
Omg I hated Dina in the first few seasons
Oh uh erm he's a stealer!?
When I read Jonah Simms, I thought of Jon Sims from The Magnus Archives😂

His good looks were actually mentionned a few times on the show, especially by Glenn and Dina lol

its a shame you dont know what comedy really looks like.
Because a (occasionally) pretentious character getting their comeuppance is always funny.
