Finally, someone explains how to SEE a rose. With monocular vision, drawing has it's areas if confusion & frustration. Thank you for simplifying and building on THAT foundation. I'm so HAPPY!!!!!! I CAN SEE IT!

this is what I think teaching is....the art of taking something that seemed so complex and with ease methodically making it simple for us to understand ....since I found you all I talk about is your method of reaching us...thank you I am grateful....

    Thanks, that was really helpful!
I hate "tutorials" where people just trace the final lineart like they have learnt it by heart rather than breaking down the shape to its core structure.
Plus, you are quite good explaining :3

Thank you so much for your tutorials, they are incredibly helpful. The only thing I would ask (for those of us who are super novices and still trying to get our bearings) would be to see the actual rose in real time. I completely understand where you're coming from with the shapes and how they fold out, but watching the actual rose form kind of blew my mind.
That aside, your videos have been a HUGE help in the process of me learning to draw. I thank you for putting your skills out for the world to share, enjoy, and learn from. You are wonderful!

I've been away from it for so long because I doubt myself too much but finding someone like you makes me feel like I can visualize more and not get frustrated by being a perfectionist.

You are really good at explaining and helping the viewers understand the concept of what you are doing. It's like learning basic anatomy before you draw a body, if you understand what is 'going on' it helps you put it down on paper, if that makes sense. You understand the limits and the nature of what you are drawing.

    Is a study in itself.

I'm looking for another view to try or another flower or subject.
