- “Elemental Connection” is a special version of World of Color, playing at Disney California Adventure Park for a limited time. This has scenes from the next Pixar movie Elemental. This plays in addition to World of Color One, and it starts about 2 minutes before the main show.
This show started playing on Friday, June 2. Since Pixar’s Elemental movie comes out in theaters on Friday, June 16, this show is the first place to see some of the scenes from this Pixar movie.
What Disneyland says about “Elemental Connection”:
Be immersed in the colorful world of Element City-where Fire, Water, Earth, and Air residents all live together. Music, animated projections and lighting effects combine to create this enthralling experience that brings the humor and heartfelt emotion of the new Disney and Pixar animated film Elemental to life.
World of Color One celebrates the storytelling legacy of the first 100 years of the Walt Disney Company, telling a new story through Disney Classics and new favorites. This show includes moments from fan favorite films including Encanto, Coco, Pocahontas, Mulan, The Lion King, Moana, Ratatouille, Soul, Star Wars, Marvel’s Avengers, and more.

There are actually three versions of the song, titled “Start a Wave,” that were made.
3:22- The main version is played at the beginning of World of Color: One, features the voice talent of Loren Allred (‘Never Enough’ in 20th Century Studios’ “The Greatest Showman”).
Another was produced by Disney which acts as a “pop version” of the song played at the end of the show as exit music.
An additional version was produced by Cody Fry himself and was the demo he sent to Disney and now acts as a music single that is available to stream and buy today
This is a great view! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Rick! We definitely try to find the best spots to watch shows at Disneyland. 👀
