Having worked for 2 not for profit local charities for a total of 25 years supporting disabled adults & young people, and being close to another not for profit charity who I do donate to, I dispute they're all the same. I don't give to the big national ones, I keep my donations local where I can see the good they do.
I agree. My stepson worked for a few days for one of those charities that work in malls. By the time management and collectors were paid there a couple of cents from every dollar that went to charity. Never again.
