And once again, this series has given us just what we needed. After the epic emotional ending of episode 9, we got all the cuteness and loving we needed in episode 10 (aside from the whole mother business). Honestly, I've seen episode 9 at least a dozen times now with different reactors, and EVERY time that last scene leaves me a wet mess (even in the "Previously" part of episode 10)! I think this episode could be called "The Aftermath of Mhok". So much of the healing that takes place here is because Mhok came into their lives. But first lets start with our heros, Mhok and Day. Seeing Mhok and Day cultivate their relationship outside of the "Caregiver/receiver" mode was a true joy to behold. You are so right about how natural and organic Dr. Jimmy's and Sea's chemistry is together. the way Mhok lovingly looks at and frets over Day constantly, and the way Day's entire demeanor lights up and shines so brightly whenever Mhok is around. I don't think any other actors could pull this off like Dr. Jimmy and Sea - mostly due to the wonderful friendship that Dr. Jimmy and Sea have IRL! Let's take a moment to get Mom discussed. Actually, "disgusted" would probably be a better word for my thoughts about her ... at least in the first 2/3 of the episode. When she took Day's phone and them changed the wifi password, my first thought was "What is Day, 12 years old?" No! He's a grown-assed man of at least 20 or so (university age), and she was treating him like a middle school student, or a fairy tale princess in a dungeon. And then when she dumped that load of guilt on Night as well (thankfully Day overheard it!), I was truly done with her. But I was also happy to see Day stand up for himself and use her own words against her. I think that may have been the seed that gets her to begin to reconsider her actions/opinions. (Fingers crossed!) We began to see hints of this at the Christmas dinner, when she admitted to not being a "lovely mom" to Day, and reinforced Day's attempts to reach out to and include Night. (Learn from your youngest son, Mom!) Speaking of Night ... Mark deserves an award for his nuanced portrayal of the Night character. When Day said "i forgive you ... for everything", you could literally see the weight being lifted from Night's shoulders. Not only did we see subtle changes in his facial expression and the welling up of tears in his eyes, but we also see subtle changes in his posture showing his relief. And all of this was brought to fore again at the Christmas dinner scene. How Night went from feeling like a 3rd wheel in his own family to the emotions of finally feeling accepted by them. And most of that was initiated by Day's insistence that he stay, and remembering beef stew was Night's favorite, too. Then we see the hint that he will be taking on Porjai's child as his own, confirming the ship we've all been building over the past several episodes. Methinks he will end up in the same green flag category as Mhok. Night (Mark) was really the MVP of this episode. As for the whole transplant scenario for episode 11, I have a tendency to agree with you to be worried that something is going to go wrong. Corneal transplants are not a given success. As with any such operation, there can be complications and even rejection. And I agree that all the time we've spent with Day leaning to accept his blindness, having the series end with him blind would not be unrealistic or even disappointing. I guess we'll just have to wait and see about that. I was also encouraged to see Mhok and Mom starting to build some bridges in the preview as well. Finally, you mentioned something about the romantic vs caretaker relationship. I get Mom's concern about the financial aspect of Day's care. But I just wanted to chime in with my personal experience. I cared for my late husband for about 18 of our 20+ years together. I think over time, the two roles can begin to merge ... to the point where you don't know where one stops and the other starts. Nor does it matter. I guess I really hadn't considered how much I loved him until after he was gone. Probably because a lot of my time was spent taking care of his personal needs. But when I no longer needed to do that, I realized how much I missed the romantic side of our relationship. Not necessarily the sexual part (his condition made that difficult and painful for him), but the parts where we could have entire conversations with only a few words. The parts where I instinctively knew what he needed and he knew what I was thinking. Those are the parts that are so subtly and aptly portrayed by Dr. Jimmy and Sea as Mhok and Day. I find myself seeing myself in Mhok a lot. Thanks for letting me ramble on here. I really love your reactions! See you next video!

I'm honestly waiting to see what they'll do before I really form an opinion but I do agree that having Day remain blind would not be disappointing at all. I just really hate the idea of seeing him get all hopeful about getting his sight back and then it not working 😭😭😭
Mark was so brilliant - in the entire show but in this EP in particular!! Night is a character we haven't been with for long periods of time, so every little scene is important to help us understand who he is. And the Mark has used those opportunities to the fullest by giving us so many clues about Night in the way that he portrays him, from his gaze to his body language is just 👏 he deserves all the praise.
I know that Day is the blind character here but somehow he can see so much more than his mom. She's really frustrating at times with how much she refuses to see!! I understand she wants to protect Day but locking him up in a cage is not protection, it's just cruel. And the way she's been relying so heavily on Night while at the same time completely ignoring his needs...I mean, I don't know if she even ever considered the fact that the accident affected him, too. Obviously Day was the one who needed the most attention but it doesn't mean Night didn't need her at all...😮💨 I'm glad they're starting to heal as a family but it's difficult to empathize with her at this point.
I need to say: thank you so much for sharing your own experience. I am sorry for your loss. I'm so happy to know that Jimmy and Sea are doing such a great job portraying these roles and that so many different people get to see themselves represented in this show in different ways. His eyesight won't come back to him. I think surgery won't help at this time. Maybe it'll start to come back eventually. These are my thoughts 💕
I hate to agree with you but I do 😭😭😭 at this point I hope he gets to at least see as much as he did when we began the show cuz it breaks my heart to think of Day's hopes being crushed completely 😭 I just really hate to see him suffer 🤧

I think sadness is on its way. I do not think the surgery will be a successful in that. I do not think he will get his sight back. I think he will be devastated as his hope has always rested upon that. He never really figured he would be blind forever now, with the surgery, not restoring his sight to him, Day will go into a spiral. I believe he’ll break up with Mhok. I do not believe we’re gonna get great moments between them this next episode. Think that the mother will patch things up with the boyfriend. I think the pregnant friend will go into labor and give birth to her baby. Night will become a father LOL. I think some time will pass not a lot, but I think an episode 12 though will be a small time jump. I think the series will end with them getting back together. Mhok will become successful as a chef, Day will learn to navigate his blindness better. I think that’s how the show will end. Mom needs to get a life too.
Sameee I also have like mix feelings. I'll be happy for him of course but yeah seeing his journey as to accept his new life and such. Don't know. But maybe I get why would be still get that hope as for the eye surgery.
I tried to give this mother a chance but she was being kinda irrational. I get her point as to her being worried about how he'll support his son but it's more than that. I get the context as to her being the one who had to build up their new life but being overprotective would only hurt Day more. Like whenever is something with Day, she talks to others instead of his son, like he is still a child who can't do anything or make decisions. I do think they needed this as to Mhok have a new dream, path or whatever while Day also tries to work on himself as well. And their relationship becoming more balance. And yeah it was risky the whole trip even though Mhok only had good intentions.
The mom is so in denial, I understand it's hard to accept it and you want to protect him. Why do you expect your two sons to be again miserable while you are not the one who'll be around most of the time?
She literally is never at home. Why she complaining? Lol. Not she hiring the one who faked cried on the interview lol. Not the slippers....
Him being miserable like this, sure makes this mom happy. The way Day's face bright up once he heard his bf voiceee.
It's her not accepting how things are that hurts him more. Like he can be independent, he needs to live his life and her not allowing him to do that, sounds like she doesn't accept his blindness. So freaking unreasonable, the phone, the internet, was crazy.
Why does she want his elder son to give up on his life and make him at fault and solely responsible for Day? Like what is she talking about? She does not care about either of them or their feelings damn.
10 ep to see them talking again, now let's fight the mom 🤣. I couldn't stop looking at the two photos. Like the way you're being so obvious about who you prefer and how you disregard the other is wild. I was living for Night and Portjai moment. I was also confused like, who she?? But damn he said TAKE CARE OF MY CHILD. I wanna she the mom's face when she hears about it lol.
It was so interesting to see them showing us how they would paint and use colors.
Lol not she cancel it out of regret. Wonder if she actually knew it was Nights fav or just thought it was Day's lol. I really loved Mark's scenes here in this ep. Both Jimmy and him, I love their moments in this EP. I wanted her to apologize but I guess we'll have to just leave it like this.
It's not last Twilight if we don't get a cliffhanger like this lol. Same I don't know how it's going to be. Hoping it's not a curse ep lol. I also feel it won't work. Some drama must come for sure maybe related to the surgery.
MhokDay have such sweet moments, looking like a couple, kissing, teasing each other having a great time. Love this show so much, the side character's are so appealing and interesting. The family moment and the reconciliation made me tear up a bit. I want more Night and Portjai.

The mom is getting a lot of hate these days 😂 I really tried to see things from her standpoint - and it's not that I couldn't, it's just that in light of everything that we know - about how important Mork has been to Day, how much happier and at peace he has become, and about Night and the heavy guilt he's been carrying - it's impossible to side with her at all!! Like you said, she's always working - and I get that she's doing that to provide for her family, to afford Day the best possible care and comfort - but she's never around!! She kinda made me think of Pisaeng's mom from Be My Favorite. I think perhaps she's taking her own bad experiences and the hurt she's had to face because of their dad and projecting it onto them.
Her children are grown men. I don't think she can see that. I mean, I guess she's starting to, now. Let's hope she keeps growing in the next episode. She better learn to accept Mork or else!!! 😤
