      Alhamdulillah. The implication is, that all those so called scholars had not understood the ayat on "ahsanil hadees", or were not even aware of these ayat. And worse, that also Rasulullah and his close companions were not aware that The Almighty called His Quran, Ahsanal Hadees.

      @@ibrahimfazeel3951 yes i agree but we should say the truth and acknowledge that sects of islam follow books that contradict the Qur'an and we should call it out.
      Qur'an says dont kill apostates. Hadith says kill apostates
      Qur'an says dont kill adulterers. Hadith says kill adulterers.
      Qur'an says leave a will for family when you die. Hadith says dont leave a will.
      Qur'an says Christians, jews and sabians can all go to heaven. Hadith says only muslims go to heaven.
      Qur'an tells us not to divide into sects. Hadith says there will be 73 sects and only one goes to heaven.
      Qur'an says they thought the prophet was bewitched but he was not. Hadith says he actually was bewitched.
      Qur'an says there is medicine in honey. Hadith says there is medicine in camel urine.
      Qur'an says no one knows the hour but Allah. Hadith says the hour will be on a Friday.
      Qur'an says you cant speak to the dead. Hadith says you can speak to the dead.
      Qur'an says to pray 3 times. Hadith says to pray 5 times with over complicated rituals.
      Qur'an says you cant marry a 6 year old. Hadith says the prophet married 6 year aisha
      Summary of contradictions obviously not word for word from scripture. Hadith talk of adult breastfeeding and claims the prophet had his chest literally cut open and his heart removed as a child

    Furthermore if you study the Shia, Ibadi and Adl Tawhid e Adha ("Mutazilites") you'll see a similar spectrum of positions that modern "Quranists" tend to take, in different ways. Shia reject or at least highly skeptical of Abu Hurairah as a narrator, so that's a majority of major Sunni hadith under skepticism, Ibadi don't reject hadith but are careful not to assume any are true saying "it is narrated" for all to make sure you're not lying, intentionally or unintentionally, Prima Quran has some good answers for hardline Quranists about accepting *some* additional guidance outside Quran from within Quran, he's a revert who found Ibadi. Mutazilites have all kinds of wild speculative takes, much like the diversity of wild tasfir you'll find amoung hardline Quran Only Quranists today, but accepted basic hadith stuff like praying tashahudd, however they didn't buy the grave punishment, the miraj hadith, and a few other keystone theological hadiths. It's very interesting to study all the sects (which really compose at least 3 other madhabs) and continue this kind of spectrum analysis.

      appreciate it. the observations are solid. many sources are there but some are still missing. for example where does it say Imam Malik was against spreading his work across the land for that reason? I also have no way of knowing whether or not the statements by Nomani (deobandi?) about the books of imam abu hanifa are true or not. are there other sources stating similar? specifically about the first two books (musnad & fiqh alakbar).
      are you not arguing for a less certain way of understanding the quran? removing the hadith leads to that imo. I'm not saying this is better or worse. I'm just asking for your perspective how that is supposed to be better. sure you are closer to the classical scholar's method (assuming you are correct) but how does it make your understanding more correct when you don't have anything to check it with? todays sunnis at least have something to check their interpretation with. you seem to have nothing. maybe you have something else besides the hadith?

    Superiority of the believers in the Oneness of Allah and the punishment of the Jews and Christians
    8) Narrated Abu Musa: Allah’s Messenger said: On the Day of Resurrection, my Ummah (nation) will be gathered into three groups. One sort will enter Paradise without rendering an account (of their deeds). Another sort will be reckoned an easy account and admitted into Paradise. Yet another sort will come bearing on their backs heaps of sins like great mountains. Allah will ask the angels though He knows best about them: Who are these people? They will reply: They are humble slaves of yours. He will say: UNLOAD the sins from them AND PUT THE SAME OVER the Jews and Christians: then let the humble slaves get into Paradise by virtue of My Mercy.
    (This Hadith IS SOUND and mentioned in Mustadrak of Hakim). (110 Hadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith), translated by Syed Masood-ul-Hasan, revision and commentaries by Ibrahim m. Kunna [Darussalam Publishers and Distributors], pp. 19-20;

      As per the Qur’ānist (those whom claim to only adhere to The Qur’ān), referring to the Hadīth/Narration by Abī-Sa`īd al-Khudhrī (May Allah be pleased with him), concerning the Command of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to document/record only The Qur’ān & not the Sunnah/Prophetic-Tradition (al-Bukhārī)…there’s 5-Things one must/should introspect upon.
      They are the following:
      a. How do they even know whether or not this is: Authentic, Reliable, Weak, Fabricated, etc.?!!!
      b. The Fact that this Narration has been authenticated (as being Sahīh/Authentic) thus proves that the Religio-Postures of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) are just as much at-Tanzīl/Revelation as The Qur’ān itself.
      c. The Fact that they’re literally relying upon a Hadīth/Record of the Sunnah/Prophetic-Tradition, to attempt to disprove the Validity of the Hadīth/Kitābah (Documentation) of the Sunnah, thus proves that the Sunnah is Mahlūl/Mafrūdh (Islāmically-Allowed/Mandated) to be recorded.
      d. Had this Hadīth not/never been recorded, realistically we would’ve never even known that Muhammad had even stated this.
      e. How do you know whether or not this Hadīth/Documentation of the Sunnah wasn’t made Mansūkh (Abrogated/Canceled) via Other-Nuzūl (Revelatory-Texts)?!!!

    Salam brother , I couldnt message you through twitter so I thought Ill ask my question on your latest video:
    I’m struggling with 2 pro hadith arguments I came across today in a video. Basically: 2:143 talks about the first qiblah the prophet and the believers used to pray to, but nowhere in the quran is it mentioned where or what direction that qibla was, so my question is (the point of hadith followers) how did the prophet know?
    My second question: 3:124 tells us Remember, O Prophet,˺ when you said to the believers, “Is it not enough that your Lord will send down a reinforcement of three thousand angels for your aid?” When did Allah tell prophet Muhammad this?
    Im starting to think there WAS revelation outside of the quran, do you also believe this and if so, hoe is this not a problem for us ‘quran-muslims’
    I can link the yt video of the debate with a time stamp too if u want
    Thanks in advance

    • @QuranTalk
      @QuranTalk  Год назад +4

      Peace - this is a typical fallacious argument made by traditionalists in support of Hadith. They want to say because the prophet received revelations (wahi) outside the Quran, therefore we have to uphold Hadith which were collected hundred of years after the prophet's death. The problem with this is logic is the following:
      (1) there is no way of authenticating any Hadith attributed to the prophet besides the Quran,
      (2) the Quran tells us that our only source of law (Furqan) is the Quran (6:112-116)
      (3) the Quran tells us that it is complete, fully detailed, and has all the explanations we need (16:89, 17:89, 30:58).
      Therefore, any revelation (wahi) that the prophet received that is not in the Quran was only applicable to its time and place. Whatever is pertinent to our salvation is inside the Quran.
