    I just received my FOREO devices and various masks in the mail yesterday and am looking forward to getting started. I’ve never used masks before and am wondering if I’m supposed to rinse the mask solution completely off my face after use. Tge instructions aren’t clear to me.

    I bought my UFO2 about 2 weeks ago & for the life of me, I can't work this thing out. The instructions are sketchy at best & the app isn't user friendly. There are no instructions on how to adjust things; how to programme & save any changes you may want to make. The device seems to change the settings & light colours every time I use it, so although I've scanned the mask I'm using in, instead of it remaining red for the entire time, for examle, it will change to green halfway through! (????). This is so frustrating & ends up taking more time to try reprogramming it, which doesn't always work. I'm hoping like mad I haven't just wasted $400. Please, please, please help - anyone! Thanks.

      FOREO has just released a new version of the app so we recommend downloading the latest version and reconnect your device. We will pass your feedback onto FOREO. RD

      I agree. The app is not very user friendly & the instruction manual isn't helpful. The instructions are sketchy & I think a device being paired with an app, requires more than just 7 pages of a downloadable user manual. I bought mine about 2 weeks ago & hoping I haven't wasted my money.

    I love my Foreo Luna and this is such an AMAZING innovation from them! I would love to know if you can use the UFO manually too or does it only work with the app? I heard that the first iterations were used manually but now that it's synced to your phone some people have been saying they don't know how to use it manually. Is there a way as I'd love to have that option. I actually featured it in my latest "To Haul or Not to Haul" video as I am so interested in it and had to let everyone know! Lol! But in lieu of purchasing it in the future I also made mention of a Foreo UFO "hack" using my Luna's Anti-Aging side with my sheet mask at the last minute or two before taking it off. Lol! I want that Foreo UFO SO bad that I had to come up with a workaround!! 🤣
    Thank you for this detailed information and great explanation on the effects of each colored light! So helpful! You're skin is glowing by the way!! 😀💗

      Hello, thanks for all your comments! The UFO can indeed be used manually though you do need the app each time you first use a new mask. For example, when you use the H20 Overdose mask for the very first time, you must 'teach' your UFO the routine for that mask by scanning the barcode in the app. It will then remember that sequence and in future, you can select it without the app be pressing the top buttton until the correct light for H2O Overdose shows.
      It's important to remember that the light/heat/cooling sequences vary for each mask so we would definitely recommend using the app for ease. It's extremely simple to use.
      Your hack is a nice idea but the real strengths of the UFO lie in the light, heat and cryo elements. Now there are a range of masks to choose from so all your needs are covered, we think it is well worth the investment!

    Hi there, would you know how to use foreo ufo with my own creams? I have great creams that provide great results and I would like to use them with this device. I guess I could just use a microfibre pad soaked in my cream? Thanks

    • @CurrentBody
      @CurrentBody  4 года назад

      Hi Estrella! We do not recommend this, as your own creams and serums will not be specifically formulated to be used in conjunction with LED light therapy or the T-Sonic vibrations which boost product absorption. What needs bearing in mind is the majority of skincare is not formulated to be delivered through something like the UFO. For best results use with the FOREO masks which are available to target a number of different skin concerns! Heather

      Hello Mavis, yes indeed it can. We recently partnered with Dr Galyna to recommend her favourite at-home beauty devices that are safe and effective during pregnancy, and beyond and in her top picks is the FOREO UFO.

      @CurrentBody  5 лет назад

      Hi Meena! This has happened to us too but it means you haven't placed the mask correctly. You need to make sure all edges are securely fastened and that the circular holder is on the correct way up. Hope this helps!

    I bought this for my mom and some masks, but the mask ( youth junkie) isn’t an option. The App Store hows it there, so I have to ask where is it? Is my app broken?

    • @CurrentBody
      @CurrentBody  5 лет назад

      Hello. This will be because you have purchased the UFO Mini. This doesn't have the cryotherapy (cooling) option built in so the Youth Junkie mask will not work. If you check the side of the mask box, it details whether the mask is compatible with UFO and UFO Mini.

    • @CrouchingTigress01
      @CrouchingTigress01 5 лет назад

      CURRENTBODY but I double checked and it is the full size. It is the app that doesn’t have YJ as option right out of the box. Would scanning a YJ mask in place of a night mask register it in the app?

    • @CurrentBody
      @CurrentBody  5 лет назад +1

      @@CrouchingTigress01 Great that it is the full size UFO. You just need to scan it - with each new mask you use, you must do this. The device will then remember the mask but we find it easier to just use the app ech time you treat.

      @UCMnmi8Rnru_fr204p_my_Sg Hello. We'd be happy to help if you can tell us more of what you are experiencing? There are a lot of dedicated UFO users in our office and we ahven't experienced any in-app issues so I'm sure we can suggest some adjustments to help you get more from your device.

    • @CrouchingTigress01

      Tink3r eventually I got it to work by scanning, say a YJ mask, using the make my day setting. After the first scanning, it’s remained in my apps memory. If I had to guess, this is because masks like the YJ are advanced treatment or something. Hope this helps hon.

    Hi I’ve got the ufo I’ve had it for about 5 days, I’ve used all the different masks, but I’ve only ever seen red and green lights, but never blue, I thought there was meant to be three different colours light therapy?

    • @CurrentBody
      @CurrentBody  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Nicola, thanks for your message. It may be that none of the masks you are using need the blue light. Each mask is programmed to use certain technologies to boost the ingredients in the mask. Which masks are you using?

    • @NicolaFabw
      @NicolaFabw 5 лет назад

      CURRENTBODY Hi, i have bought every single mask that you sell apart from the matte maniac and I’ve used them all, can you confirm which masks are meant to tell the unit to carry out the blue cryotherapy? I’m not sure if mine is working properly.

    • @CurrentBody
      @CurrentBody  5 лет назад +1

      @@NicolaFabw Matte Maker uses blue as it is designed to help spot-prone skin (blue light treats bacteria in acne). We have just checked in with Foreo's head trainer on any other prgrams that use blue and we'll get back to you. Just to check - you are using the app to scan barcodes, cirrect? This is what controls the light sequence.

    • @NicolaFabw
      @NicolaFabw 5 лет назад

      CURRENTBODY yes I’m using it correctly I did a lot of research before purchasing due to the cost, I actually messaged the Foreo team on Instagram who recommended the ufo over the mini due to the cryotherapy which she said was for firming. and at 52 I certainly need that. It would be useful to know which masks use the blue light so I know it’s all working correctly. I’ve got all the masks apart from the matte one as I’ve got dry mature skin. Thank you

    • @CurrentBody
      @CurrentBody  5 лет назад +1

      @@NicolaFabw We have just popped a message to the Foreo team. To clear up any confusion, blue light and the cryotherapy are two different things. Blue is with matte maker to tackle bacteria, the cryotherapy is when the devices cools. Shimmer Freak also uses cryotherapy but not blue light. We'll let you know once Foreo respond!

    Now that’s the “thermo therapy” no it’s not lol it’s a piece of cheap equipment with red led lights on that get warm and does absolutely nothing it claims 😂 or so I’m going to assume haha
