You can’t shoot them from a distance without military grade war crossbows; you can’t stop them with rocks or lesser blunt instruments- if you were against one, the best good is to throw enough bodies to eventually drown the knight with exhaustion and get a blow in.

I love playing as him. But when playing against him…. He is the most annoying and mind numbing killer to go against that makes me want to smash my monitor or curse out who ever is playing as him. That’s also what makes his chapter so incredibly mid.
It really does seem like he was originally designed to be Evil Ash, with the way the camera moves in his power similar to the Kandarian demon, and he can summon the guards like how Ash summons the Army of Darkness
I was mixed about this theme at first. My brain thought, "Are they just trying to make an 80s sounding song as a middle finger to vhs?" But thwn i thought about this. It's a hunting theme. The knight's army (or in this case 3 guards) and him are coming for you. It replicates that tense fear of feeling hunted or watched, sudden loud sounds trying to make you question where the killer could be. It also fits with his theme of how he hates the 'civilized' for hiding in their homes. It's a death march.

He is the knight, and he’s come for bloodshed and nothing more
Yeah exactly not the usual "im the spoopy killer and im doing edgy murder things" it really feels like a violent decleration of war against any survivor, he's just one angry big man with a rusty sword set on conquest

I bought the Knight and wasn't really liking him at first. But then I watched that Otzdarva video where they compare him to the Skullmerchant, and then I saw how they play the Knight. No three gen bullshit, but constantly use your guards from afar to cut off survivors and effectively chase two people at once. I'm enjoying the Knight now!
The music alone made me play the killer a ton on the PTB, i can only imagine how much ill be playing him when hes on the live servers! Despite his issues i found him fun still.
Well let's face it competition will rule out any fear in this game once you get a hang of the mechanics and seen every killer it just becomes a sport which is sad i think, but there are few assymetric horror games who can uphold any sort of fear for the "survivors" in the long run

This theme isn’t bad but I kinda wish it was a bit more reminiscent of the kind of soundtracks for games like Dark Souls and For Honor in how they are able to have rather grim orchestral music with Latin lyrics mixed in. Those seem a lot more fitting for knights and the vibe of medieval Europe. Because I always thought this song would be very easy to think was not about a knight killer if you had no knowledge of the context.

Compared to other menu themes, there's nothing mournful, unsettling or subtle about it. It's pure unadulterated antagonism.
