- Here a video on an interesting topic that I don’t see a good overall perspective on. The are many guys collecting the great mid-century toy race cars made by Aurora. I’m not an expert but I admire these enthusiastic and dedicated collectors.
Nice collection of cars!! I'm 66 and still have all my t jets from the early 60's. I have been working on a detailed layout with the cars and trains together for about 20 years. I have about 80 cars altogether. Recently I have added alot of resin bodied cars and trucks and put auto world chassis under them. I remove the magnets so they drive more like the old t jets. The resin bodies are fun to paint and add a nice variety of vehicles to the layout. It is also much more affordable than buying original t jets. It has been and continues to be the most enjoyable hobby in my lifetime!!! Thanks for sharing your collection.
@dennisdurrant7077 I glad to hear you enjoyed my modest video. It is a really fun hobby and we are really lucky right now with all of the items available right now such as the resin bodies you mentioned.
@@nitromancer6460 There is alot of good things coming out right now especially with the endless possibilities of 3d printing.
@@dennisdurrant7077 The 3d printing is amazing. Here’s Robert Berry’s slim line chassis & bodies plus he’s also making some Thunder Jet stake truck bodies
