you know the thing that I love, is Pearl is really giving a great shoutout each season to a different Service worker thats usually ignored. Trash Person, Mail Person... kids watch HErmitcraft. and those are jobs that are often ignored or looked down on. so i think, even though what you're doing is just fun, it really is important.

Using redstone components as decoration in their vehicle build
37:15 Pearl, the reason why you fell off was actually because of server connection. If you watched the item count in your hotbar, it was latent by about 1 or 2 items, which means your client was still placing blocks when you'd actually ran out. So despite crouching on the edge of the bridge there, you'd ended up walking over to where there wasn't any valid blocks. Then in the half a second it took for your client to catch up with the server, again due to connection, it realised 'Oh these blocks aren't meant to exist. I'ma delete those!' meanwhile you were on those... so it spleefs you. And despite crouching, you fall.
I know this from much MUCH experience of falling off of bridges due to this exact reason.

Like I would definitely classify you more as a terraform & creative block use person, but I've been watching Hermitcraft since Season 8, and I am pretty sure you've made the most vehicles in terms of hermits?
Like this season Scar has his train, and Gem and Bdubs both made boats last season (And Gem has another one this season)... But you made at least two cleaning vans and also two hospital vans... You made a giant ship as a starter house in Season 8, and you tore it down to REBUILD IT... And this season you already have a ship and a mail van...
So, if I were to think of a "vehicle" hermit, I would probably think of you first. Gem's boats would probably land her second if I am including non-HermitCraft series, or maybe Scar because of the Create series and New Life series...
Pearl: The end is one of the scariest places because if you fall into the void all of your things are gone.

Pearl don’t ever say you are bad at building vehicles both your season 8 starter base and shop were boats. And I have seen the trucks in your Season 9 base! Spectacular. You are just really good at building in general. I think if you try to build something well, you will.
(My rule for myself is that I can only say something degrading about something I did if I actually know how to improve or what I did wrong.)

i think she was saying she was bad at proportions, so she needed to make a mock-up in a creative world so it didnt look like a pile of colors. though i do agree, if she tries to build something well, she will. she just might have to try harder. :)
I have a feeling that pearl’s skill in the building field she is the least good at is still much, MUCH higher than the average building skill in this field. If you know dnd it’s kinda like she has proficiency in some build skills but her default building ability modifier is crazy high even without these proficiencies

Scar-Pearl adventures are always super fun to see. And it's great to see hermits are using roads and paths more than flying this season.
Also, we love seeing more progress on the post office! It has become kind of your main base!

Because HotGuy is back you should wear Thorns armor. Someone said this the previous season but because Scar is frequently at one heart he could shoot hisself.
Those wardens noteblock would work great hidden in the mail plane to simulate the engines rumbling. (oh Etho commented that later)

I love the scar and pearl duo! The zoo keeper and post woman skins are aesthetically pleasing together to me since the two went so hard on designing their skins with fun accessories.

I love that Mojang made the warden crazy powerful with a mechanic that encourages players to avoid it rather than try to kill it, and Pearl kills 8 wardens just to play a prank.
I really like the way you approach this season. The mail lady persona is a really good balance of building, lore and interaction 👍🏻

slight note, when i was in the navy one of the things i noticed was that all of the boats and ships sit pretty deep into the water, i would recommend moving it down one block, so that the buoyancy pieces sit “in” the water, tops flush with the sea level. its like a displacement thing with the weight of the material contained within the hull of a ship
There are blocks under the ship already :) It's a flatter design.
It looks like a flat bottomed canal barge to me and they do sit a touch lower in the water normally.
Clearly ships sit higher in the water but in this case it wouldn't.

Ocean vessels and river ships are engineered around different operating criteria. What's good for one is not necessarily good for the other.
Watching Pearl’s building process, even just for something as seemingly mundane as a car, is simply breathtaking. The amount of detail put into every aspect of her builds is absolutely incredible!✨❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥✨

You could intermix the warden heads with the other mob heads on the same row. If you did two rows deep, you could do warden, cow, warden, fish, warden, slime, and so on. Then on the second row switch it up again, so that the same sound doesn't repeat in the same tic of redstone.
If you want more shulker boxes, I suggest talking to Doc about buying some wood from him.
He's going to package it very well for you.

Considering the amount of times I'm building in a season and the amount of videos... That to me is very much in the 'not much' category. 😄
Vehicles are not my typical go-to for building.
You mentioned to maybe build a plane. One idea later on (maybe easter?) could be a post/delivery plane that unfortunately lost its packages (with some sweet loot) and the hermits can go on a scavenger hunt.
I think that a mail helicopter using the warden heads would be super cool

At 2:45, the tires on the side of boats aren't there to increase the buoyancy, the rubber serves as a shield so when the side of your boat bumps into the dock it doesn't get damaged.
It's a great night everytime I see a pearl upload.
I hope you see this, but I have an idea involving the mail system that I think would be a really cool either server-wide project, or service provided by some shops individually.
There should be a mailbox destination that is dedicated to mail ordering.
The concept is pretty simple:
A hermit mails a shulker containing a return stamp and diamonds renamed to the items they want.
At the mailbox destination, the shulker gets unloaded, an item sorter sorts out the diamonds and the return stamp. As the sorted, renamed diamonds come through, the corresponding item is dispensed. The shulker gets filled with dispensed items and any items that don’t have a filter are returned to the shulker and sent to the destination on the return stamp.
This also means you can order to a different address like for gift delivery purposes, or perhaps you put in several orders back-to-back and have them delivered to a mailbox close to where the project is.
With some types of items, the farm could exist in the same chunk as the delivery system, so it could trigger a short burst of the farm-combined with the crafter, it could even be self-restocking, triggered by stock levels.

That's a sick idea. Get right on that, Tango and Etho.

@pearlescentmoon I have a possible name suggestion for the stables for when you build one for the speedy mule deliveries. "The Pearly Express" borrowed slightly from "The Pony Express" when the mail service started in the United States.
