George is an incredibly funny guy. I legit wouldn't be surprised if a huge number of Space Ghost's hilarious lines over the years were him improvising.
I met George Lowe back in 2019 at a local convention, and he was one of the nicest guys ever - very open to signing my Hallmark Space Ghost ornament (which I still put on my tree yearly). His mother had just passed away, and he revealed to me that he almost backed out of the convention, but said that his Mother would have wanted him to show up, so he did. May she rest in peace, he clearly loved his mother very much, hopefully I can meet him again sometime.
George Lowe is incredible. It’s a shame he, C. Martin Croker and Andy Merrill aren’t as well known as the cast of The Simpsons or Family Guy. I know Space Ghost Coast to Coast has a cult following, but the work they all did on that show and on other Adult Swim shows is fantastic and they deserve more recognition. Also RIP C. Martin Croker.

He also voiced a variety of shows for Adult Swim that were produced by Williams Street, the team George Lowe was a part of. Shows like ATHF (on Adult Swim, yes?) originated as spots on Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet.
Space Ghost has been my favorite since I was a child. Still as funny today. I even named my pet Zorak ”The Lone Locust of the Apocalypse" Ficker. Thank you Space Ghost, you truly changed my life for the better, added mirth to gloomy weather and a much bleaker home life.
