Make sure you stop me and say hi. I’ll be there Monday - Wednesday. If you haven’t watch the rest of the Masters Series. I have tons of hot tips in there as well and keep and eye out this week. I’ll drop 2 videos 😅
Those are some pretty good tips. 2024 will be my 46th year attending the masters tournament. My first year was 1979 and it is so different now than it was back then. Not only has the course evolved but the Walmart size pro shop used to be a tenth of the size it is now. I used to receive a patrons parking pass with my badges that allowed me to park where practice facilities are now which was a 50 yard walk from the car to the entrance. I used to see the same people sitting in the same spot every year now there's probably twenty times more people than back then. It used to be like a bunch of friends meeting every year to watch the greatest golf tournament played on the greatest golf course in the world. Even with all the changes i wouldn't trade this life experience for anything in the world. Seeing Jack win number 6 and Tiger winning his first and all the other fantastic moments this tournament has produced are truly as they say "A Tradition unlike any other". Hope to see you there.
Keith wow I loved reading all of this. Thank you so much for sharing. What an honor to have you watch my video. I will 💯 be there Monday - Wednesday. If you see me please stop me and say Hi. Would love to chat with you and hear more amazing stories.
Im going to the US Open 2023 and will using these tips. I wish I knew them when I went to the Open last year. Thanks Coach Shayain. Hope to connect soon.
Thank you for sharing these tips! This year, 2024, will be my first time attending The Masters. I am excited about attending, but I admit I am nervous about it as well being that there are so many rules. Your video explaining the best tips has helped calm my nerves about what to expect and me not “messing up” being a 1st time attendee.
Just remember the rule is live in the present moment and anything with tech leave at home/hotel if you can or you will check it in. Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to get all your nerves out !
I love your Master's series!! I am fortunate enough to be going this year to the Thurs-Fri rounds. Thus is my first time and it has always been a bucket list trip for me. Now I get to check it off!! Looking forward to it. Thank you for all of the insight to make the most of the trip.
Take phone numbers with you. The phone banks at the concession areas are free long-distance calls. Call someone and make them jealous. Have fun and "Welcome to the Masters".
Great Job! First time going tomorrow (Sunday 2023). This was incredibly helpful! Two questions; - what time do you recommend arriving? - what do you use as a carrier? Do you bring a small bag? Thanks! Maybe we’ll see you there!
ohhhh nooo I am just seeing this now. I hope you had an amazing time like I did. Did you manage to see my other video where I mention that you can bring a bag as long as it fits in the bucket that i show you in my video. 3 things you CAN NOT bring to the masters 2023 is the title of the video. We were in the parking lot by 6:30am
thanks for the tips. is it better to go to the main concession stand or is the south one ok. i want to make sure i get a chair and a hat. i'd like to put my chair by 12 so the south entrance is better. but i would also like to see the honory tee off on1. i'm only going 1 day, Thursday. Hope it doesn't rain too much.
I always like to suggest to go to the main shop as they have the biggest variety of merchandise. Also good luck leaving the store with only a hat and a chair 😅. I’m not encouraging it but I would love to give you a high five 🖐🏽 if you make it out with 2 items. Also they have storage there if you ever need to keep anything for the day so you don’t have a carry it around. Also it’s right beside the concessions and then make your way to the first tee box :)
I am going to Wednesday's practice round this year. I have a few questions about parking. Where do you park? How much is it? Is it first come first serve? Lastly, how far away is it and is it walkable. Thanks so much for putting out this video. Great tips!
I should be there on WED as well. Parking is free... COME EARLY the lots do fill up! There is tons of signage around to tell you about parking. We parked by the North Gate, it is like Disney land make sure you remember the area as it can get confusing when you leave. Parking to the first hole without stopping I would say is anywhere between 15-20 minutes walking
Great video very informative. Going their this year for the first time in 2024… you mentioned in your video that you arrived around 7am, what that an ideal time and not too big of a lineup or would you suggest getting their earlier to lineup.. thanks in advance
Congratulations!!!! This is so exciting, you will have the best time. Make sure you watch my full Masters series there are great gems in there that you wan't to miss. In regards to timing. We were pulling into the parking lot at 6:50am. I would suggest getting their early to line up, especially if it is your first time.
Love these videos about The Masters! You mentioned you can buy a bag there and I know the merchandise store is huge, but what kinds of bags did they sell? Large totes, regular backpacks, belt bags, etc? Would love if they sold a backpack to carry snacks, clothing, purchased gifts, etc.
My brother and I are driving down for todays round now! Thank you for these tips! Btw how were you able to get photos if they don’t allow devices/phones? See you there!
Thanks for the tips. Just wish I was going. Lol. Been to the players championship a few times and some other tournaments, but the Masters is by far the bucket list one. How was you able to get tickets without knowing someone or taking out a loan? Lol
Hahahah taking out the loan got me 😅 I am extremely lucky to be part of the LPGA Professionals Family and Augusta National and The Masters as extremely kind to let us Pro’s come to experience the tournament.
@@CoachShayain Thanks for response. Cool deal. Sounds like the Masters does things the right way esp with the food prices. I have a friend and we are trying to find tickets to one practice round just so we can say we walked the course and go to the merchandise shop.
Will be there Monday and Tuesday practice rounds. Planning to walk the course in the morning and then sit somewhere in the afternoons. What would be your Top Two afternoon locations on Monday and Tuesday?
Fantastic Video series. I am headed there next week for Days 1 and 2, and had a question I was hoping you could help me on. Since no electronics are allowed but I can wear my Apple Watch as they website says “Devices such as fitness tracking bands and electronic watches are permitted”. My question is I want to take my watch charging cable and USB battery pack so I can charge it at lunch time as I want to follow a group in the AM, record the walk on my watch, then charge it at lunchtime, then follow a PM group. Would be neat to capture my two walks but my watch won’t last the full day without a charge if I am recording an activity.
Hey David. Sorry I am seeing this now. What did you end up doing? Also very curious if you found a place to charge your watch as I haven´t seen any outlets around as all the Lunch spots are outdoors. Would love to hear how it went and the number of steps you took :)
Thanks for your solid advice. My first time at the Masters this year. Psyched about the Par 3 Contest on Wed. But I can't find much info on access and seating for that event. Also, are the seats sold at all the smaller merch stores?
I'm hoping to go to the 2024 or 2025 Masters and that is what brought me to your video. So, no cell phones but are you allowed to bring a camera? Also, would love to hear how you got your tickets and accommodations. Thank you.
You can bring a camera only Monday - Wednesday and then no cameras as well. I am a golf pro so I got them through the LPGA. In terms of accommodations, it all depends on your budget. The further out you stay the cheaper the closer you stay you have to pay a premium
Great video! Making my first trip this year, so appreciate the tips. Is there a pro shop for chair purchase near every entrance? I'm planning on being dropped off near the west entrance and would like to put my chair on 16. But wondering if the pro shop is on the opposite side of the course from where I'll be entering?
Monday - Wednesday you are allowed old school camera´s (NO CELL PHONES at all). So my friend bought a digital camera. This year I will take more pics and will buy a better camera to make sure we can capture clear images :)
I'm going to the Women's Tournament on Thursday and I'm so overwhelmed and lost 😅 I dont know where to start with my questions!!! Can I walk around everywhere I want? Do I have to follow a certain path or order? What type of chairs are allowed? Is there shelters for it it rains or are we expected to get wet? Can I sit on the ground? Are there water fountains? Can I bring in a refillable bottle? Thank you!!!
HI! THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT TIPS!! MY SON & I ARE GOING THIS YEAR 2024!! VERY EXCITED!! HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE MASTERS!!

My suggestion are getting merchandises early, next to store you can check in your stuff, picking up when you’re done.don’t carry them around
Good tips for the folks who are first timers. Keep up the good work. I will be there for Masters Week. Have fun.
I hope you enjoyed it!
