So much fun watching this! I’m looking for an air fryer, and you made cooking with this look like fun. I like how you thought out loud and made decisions as you went. I’m not much of a cook, and you made it seem like I might be able to attempt this. Thanks for demonstrating the various functions.

I bought this pot today and tried to make rice and salmon pak choi that was on its recipe book which came with it . My pak choi came out burnt. I followed the recipe book to the tee. And rice was not too bad but some of them turned crunchy. Next time I will use few minutes less than the booklet recommended.

Very detailed review, but missing a very important pressure-cooking feature!
There’s no mention nor discussion about the silicone ring!
Critical points to be made among others, are:
What it is and it’s function
How to properly insert & remove it
how to make sure it’s positioned properly
How to know reposition when the cooker is leaking steam
    How to clean
The advantages of having a second ring.

Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

TwoSleevers Urvashi I’m so excited - because of your review and demo I finally bought this ninja foodi pressure cooker/air fryer for my husband’s birthday. We LOVE cooking together and have been interested in both kitchen tools for a while. I got a great deal on it at Costco. Any recipe recommendations for beginners? Neither or us has ever used a pressure cooker or air fryer.

Carrie Martín go to my recipe blog www.twosleevers.com and go to the recipe index and select instant pot or pressure cooker. Or air fryer for that matter. Hundreds of well tested recipes. If you look under my shop Tab, there’s a place where I list all my cookbooks

Carrie Martín how much price you bought ninja foodi at Costco?

Tarunum Tasneem It was a little under $150. It wasn’t on any sort of special - they might offer it on sale for less if you keep your eye out. If you order it from them online it is closer to $160. Hope that helps!

I've seen this appliance on another channel! I love that you made a recipe that combines both functions. Looks great Urvashi! Nice to see you here on RUclips.

How hot does the ninja foodi on the bottom of this device/ Appliance? In other words, what type of surface do you need to place the Ninja foodi on? Also, since the ninja foodi is so tall I think you could place it on a surface that is much lower then your standard counter surface. kind of like the Heating level of an eye on a stove. To where the knobs that control your stove are lower than the heating eyes So therefore you'll need additional room in in the office, home Etc... that's the downside, the upside is this. It's portable.

Great review and straight to the point for the ninja foodi. Just bought one, and good to know what I can do with it. Going to try your recipe from this video. Is this chicken rice recipe on your site?

Thank you. Very helpful since I didn't get an instruction book with my Nija Foodi.

That appliance looks nice and it can do so much, but those like myself who have a smaller kitchen and have too many appliances already just don't have the room to put it.
