Not arguing it’s not staged but I don’t mind the trade. I was never high on Darnold throwing to JJ and I’d almost want an injury. Pollard is big for me and will continue to get 20-25 total touches a game. You get another starting RB in Kyren and get a good WR who’s gonna improve after week 1. To me Avery got two top starters and the other guy got 3 starters. The TE are a wash.

I don't think it was that bad of a trade. Minnesota/Aaron Jones are getting way too much hype after beating a Giants team that would struggle against good college teams. He upgraded at RB with Kyren and Pollard, TE was really the only spot he took a bath on. Jefferson will obviously still be good, but we don't know if Darnold is actually good or if the value there is overinflated from beating the hapless Giants.
I think MN will be a solid offense. The Giants defense isn’t even that bad on paper. It’s not their fault Daniel Jones is terrible.

I don’t think this trade is that bad. Let’s not forget JJ has Darnold as his QB. Kyren got all the work and is an RB1. A Jones and Pollard are basically the same thing. Bowers is better than Dallas. Bigsby is a waiver level RB… don’t think it’s that bad tbh.

@@78town dude kyren has a 85% re-injury risk, the HIGHEST OF ANY PLAYER ON AN ACTIVE ROSTER IN THE NFL… sure its hard to consider that when trading but when you bring up snap percentage in an offense that just drafted a rb with their first pick and put their injury prone rb at kick return, he CLEARLY is not getting 100% of the workload all year, you’re gonna see a 60-40 split with blake corum at the end of the season

He needed depth with Puka out and upgraded from Jones to Pollard, got a potential league-winner in Kyren, and still has a solid WR in Pittman. Downgrading from Bowers to Goedert sucks but, this isn't Justin Jefferson with Kirk at QB guys. This is Jefferson with Darnold. Great player but not this league-winning stud that everyone thinks he is. I don't understand this reaction.
