6-8 wins for GT imo. Offense should be able to put up points on anyone they play. On defense the secondary is good enough to win now and in the offseason they picked up 4 DL men from the portal along with 2 LB’s to help stop the run. They also get a DE back from injury last year. I think that plays a huge roll along with a very good new DC in Satucci.
Any season preview that doesn’t mention Santucci and how they’ve overhauled the defense and filled in gaps from the portal is not a very good preview. Yes, expect the offense to be good and put up some good numbers. The defense is a complete unknown based on all the changes in staff and personnel. Looking at Santucci’s history GT should move from near the bottom of the ACC in defense to solidly in the middle this year. The schedule is brutal but I think you still see more wins than losses. A top 25 ranking at some point is possible.
