Hi Folks! I am one of the dancers in this video. It is about 4 years old now, and not sure how it's ended up back in the algorithm, but nonetheless. This was a dance choreographed in 7 hours for a recreational college dance program, where 4/6 of us had NEVER danced in heels before and wanted to try something fun with our friends! It was very fun, and we all had a blast. This is just a reminder that if you don't have something nice to say, keep it to yourself. Dance can be cherished and performed by people (even adults!) at all levels, not just elite dancers! Have a great day 😊

    Out of time ...
They didn't do the same choreography
The routine was so simple but they still didn't master it!
Honestly these dancers are the level of the kids of 5 or 6 i saw on Sunday in London!
The 79 likes were from these girls and their families...
I was in shock and HAD to comment as they are PAYING for dance lessons and some of them might hope to do dance as a living, it is so sad and as LilyPang said below it looked like they just learnt it..

Hi TI Jay! Sounds like those 5 and 6 year olds are very talented. This was a recreational dance program for college students, we learned the dance in 6 hours. I'm happy to let 4 years later I do dance for a living, the choreographer also does, and all of us in this number had fun doing it. Our friends, families, and the audience love this piece too! 😉 This wasn't very nice to say, just know you're talking about real people who love dance just like you who ultimately see your comments, especially when they're from small dance programs. Just food for thought-- have a great day! :)

@@maddieokbye Tell me that anything i said was wrong! yes the kids are far more talented than what i saw on this video! do you think for one moment any of you captured the Fosse feeling, it is meant to ooze sex appeal and the movements are supposed to be very precise... not one person danced to their full potential! this was SO simple and yes i am an ex professional dancer with West End theatre experience and i was on TV in the UK many times and i performed at major venues around the world and for Royalty too! this didn't showcase anyone! everyone looked dead behind the eyes and didn't perform at all! let me see your videos and i will be honest with you... why is the truth so hard to hear, why are Americans so fake too... other people though it was poor too! it must have been embarrassing for you to be in this dance which is why you are getting all snowflakey lol!

@@tijay8507 Congratulations, genuinely, on your West End experience! What a repertoire you have, that's very impressive. All I am saying is that this was done for fun, not aiming to be Fosse style at all, just a fun dance in heels for recreational dancers in college. Not one of us is trying to be on Boradway-- I see six girls trying something new and having fun. You too, with your impressive resume, were once a beginner and trying something new. As a dancer and educator, I teach my students to be kind and stand up for themselves, and that if you don't have anything nice to say or unless people specifically ask you for feedback, then keep it to yourself 😊 This is me standing up for myself and my friends. I hope I can reach you with that advice as well. Good luck with everything, and I hope you rediscover the joy in just dancing to have fun soon!

@@maddieokbye Why didn't you and any of the girls with some training take the lead and have the other non trained girls as backing dancers doing things they are capable of doing, i just don't get why it was posted? i have been involved with lots of dancing schools where they have adult classes and kids that are beginners and we knew how to make them look fantastic ,more like movement rather than dancing...i started dancing at 19 months old and i could keep up with the 3 year olds so i can't really relate... you can't use this music and not have it be sexy, seductive and classy..
had the title said something relating to it being complete beginners then of course i would not have watched but i adore this song and i was so excited to see a new version... when you put things on the net and don't want feedback then turn off the comments... how can you be working as a dancer when you are that level? i am just honest and blunt! i adore dance but i just wouldn't post anything that wasn't polished and well rehearsed!

Great singer however the choreography is not correct. Takes place in a cabaret and should be very seductive
