George Harrison wrote in his book that when he came to India to learn sitar from the legendary Pt Ravi Shankar, while walking he saw a small indian child practicing in Ravi Shankar's class with a sitar. The child was barely 9;or 10 years old and he bent the sitar string to an interval which Harrison hadn't even heard in his entire musical career. The child was probably a master of the unique sitar technique of combining a bend and a vibrato to achieve semitones. Harrison was a music maestro at that time and this 9 year old child stunned him literally. Such is the vastness of talent in India. Actually I feel it is talent combined with dedication and reverence, as music is considered Saraswati.
