I've seen " Journey to Friendship" many times and each time I still get emotional. Thank you for your reaction. Netflix has plans for a Blackpink documentary (This was reported by some Kpop channels two months ago?). I imagine the documentary to be outlined similar to this video, though one never knows. Anyone who watches this video ( Journey to Friendship) cannot help but be filled with admiration for their hard work, and their talents as well as to take a special joy watching Blackpink's special relationship they have with each other as well as to the Blink fandom. Thank you, I did smile today!

The stuff they are winning is not an actual competition it's a music show where you'll get first place base on how your songs are doing when it comes to different platforms :)
It's actually a competition, what's the point of having a trophy or an award if it's not a competition. Korean Idols (like BlackPink) are winning because fans(blinks) are so eager to win in voting apps to get the first place for groups (blackpink) to win in music shows. (That's why i love the passion and eagerness of my fellow blinks to vote to win in music shows) Everything in kpop world is a competition. That is why fans are always having fanwars because of competition (Which is a toxic trait of fans). I bet you're not voting BlackPink in voting apps that's why you don't know this.

All K-pop idols had a long period of training, some like 10 years but their debut is not confirmed and they had to pay their debt and stuff. And that's why we should support and love all of them.

Many people are confused about that competition thing. I'll be your savoir and let you know, because it's very important in kpop. When a group or even a solo artist, makes a debut or a comeback, they promote at different music shows. They're all different days of the week, once a week. Blackpink promotes only on two, because of their company beefing with most broadcasting channels lmao. They go to Inkigayo and Music Core and perform. You'll see when they comeback, although you may not be able to react to those, those channels take everything down. What goes on on those music shows? They take physical sales, digital sales, downloads, streams, pre votes (during the week), live votes, all into consideration. That's the numbers you see, and all the music shows have different criteria, some care more about streams, other about votes, others about physicals. It's important to win because it means mostly the general public didn't forget about you, it means success in korea, that's why Blackpink gets so emotional when they win on those. If we're lucky they'll be weeks promoting on them this next comeback. I like it because it's all the artists on a TV, it's crazy. Also the winner of the week performs the song again and it's usually very fun.
No it wasn’t a competition those are known as wins. Every week a number of tv shows in Korea allow multiple groups to perform each day. They get points based on votes, streams, and a bunch of other criteria. Getting a win in Korea is like getting a number one in America. It shows your popularity and how much people listen to them.
