,,,debuted,... what you're seeing there are the little kind of tv award showcase shows for top selling , chart topping songs after comeback ( emotional after FIRST song release)...they perform song... amongst other groups, then at end of, stats are shown for that weeks sales, streaming figures, RUclips , fan votes etc and a #1 winner is declared....lots vids of it on YT

During their training days they bonded in several ways. Jisoo has talked about bring Lisa home with her on Holidays and the times Lisa stayed at the dorm, Jisoo would return early knowing Lisa was alone. Jennie and her parents flew with Lisa to Thailand meet and visit with Lisa's parents. They all would comfort Rose' when she got would miss home and family. The "Rock" is Jisoo, she never cries in public or in front of the members. She is the oldest and she feels she must be the strong one. Watch Blackpink House, their reality show where they stay in a house and vacation together.
These girls don't have, even just the tiniest bit, any jealousy or envy in their bones. They love each other, and they support each other, and they're genuinely happy for each other. No matter how big they are, they don't think of themselves as high celebs. They're very humble, down-to-earth, and grateful individuals.
It is completely fine if you do not have a bias in Blackpink. They are 4 individuals with different personalities that everyone can relate to.

This may be the first of many comments, as I'm commenting as I watch. Regarding their first "Comeback", it's different in K-Pop than it is in the West. Groups usually have comebacks two to three times a year, usually with a mini-album or album. BLACKPINK debuted with only two songs in August, then another two in November, then it was seven months until they released ONE song, "AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST", which was also a record-breaker. After that it was ten months before they dropped a four song mini-album, then another year before their last one, also four songs. So it's been three years and seven months and they've only got thirteen songs. The press has written articles about it and the BLINKS are beyond upset.

I recommend you check out Blackpink House which is like a reality show. Their CEO gifted them this place for 3 months and they filmed the girls living together and also going on trips. You won't be able to react to it as it most likely will be taken down due to copyright but worth checking out in your own time. Episodes are on the Blackpink channel which are broken down to mini episodes. After that, they have Blackpink Diaries which is vlog of their world tour.

A kpop group is the result of a long work, sometimes years and years of training, many people abandon along the way, those we then see on stage have overcome many obstacles! Even in the Blackpink some members were about to abandon because it was too hard, but the others supported her until they made their debut!
To answer your question, there are six weekly music shows on TV, groups are invited to perform their new songs and they are voted on, live and online (pre-voting before the performance), the votes are tabulated and results announced at the end of the show!
@@JSAiKO Yes, exactly. There are also different categories, "Debut Stage" is when a new group performs, "Comeback Stage" is an established group performing new material. Also some TV shows have better production values than others, so artists try to appear on those first to make a better impression on viewers who are seeing them perform live for the first time.
I discovered them shortly after they played in Chicago. I was pissed when I found that out. Hopefully they come back on the next tour. I'll be there for sure.

No it wasn't televised. They have trained for 4-6 yrs because their debut always got pushed back. Originally, there were supposed to be 9 members in their group. But as the years go by, others gave up and went home, others did not make the cut. In the end, there were 4 members to be called Blackpink. And even after they debuted, they were not given that much music and so very few comebacks. After more than 3 yrs after debut, they only have 15 songs. It's sad really. They deserve better.

You can see the bond between the girls and Blinks, and this is because is the way in South Korea between all Kpop groups and their fandoms, the companies make fanmeeting, there's an app called Vlive and you can find channels of all kpop groups (you can subscribe to their channles same as youtube) they do Vlives constantly to talk with their fans (you can watch their old vlives, all the vlives are saved in the app) so the group could build a close relationship with their fans. This girls always make things to show us how thankful they are for all the support that they receive from us.
The girls gave us the name Blinks, Bl(the begining) INK(the end) from Blackpink, wich means that Blinks are with them since the begining to the end. The "begining" not necessary means that we are with them since the debut, can be since we met them and start to support them to the end

So in KOREA there are several music shows. This is where kpop groups go to promote their song after they make a comeback (basically releasing a new music video/album). All groups go there every time. So what you saw in the vid was one of them called INKIGAYO. Blackpink have performed there a lot so you can always check those out too if you want. After performing, the fans vote and sales, views and streams are all added up. Luckily blackpink won that one week as you saw so it was great. The competition is tough since there are a lot of kpop groups that are promoting on these music shows literally every week.

im so happy you're starting to get more into blackpink now. Whether or not you're a blink, seeing anyone just saying nice things about the Pinks makes us happy. Anyway, there's not much Variety TV shows to watch with blackpink on it so it really sucks. But there are other ones like their own reality show called 'Blackpink House'. It's a really cute show and its actually what made me like them so much haha.

All of them were so young when they started training. Like for example Lisa she was just 14 when she move to South korea alone. And NO their training was not televised. The clip where you saw them crying and recieving an award, they already debut at that time and that’s their first award. It’s for a television show that shows what song is topping the chart in sk that week.

most labels dont show trainees, they show only predebut trainees, in Blackpinks case, it was limited to pictures with profiles of the girls as they became part of the final lineup, for a long time Jennie was the only fixed member (she trained the longest), for insight in YGE there are three programs i can think of its WIN who is next (competition between Team A and Team B to debut, Team A won and became Winner), MIX&MATCH (about the very popular Team B, who got mixed around with members (not really but one added if i recall, has been awhile) ended with IKON), and YGTREASURE BOX (competition between YG trainees and YG japan trainees to become the new group TREASURE, soon to debut)... For JYPE I only know SIXTEEN (that ended with the debut of TWICE). As I have stated before you should really check out Sorns Vlogs (of CLC) she goes really into depth of what trainee life is (In CUBE entertainment ofc, but most of it is standardised by SM entertainment (the label that created KPOP) she is friends with Lisa, and also talk about income disparity in one of the Vlogs (if you ever hear someone talking about Lisa is the poorest, its because they wrongly sourced that Vlog, Lisa is actually the one with the highest Net Worth of any 3rd gen female Kpop Idol))
Seriously of the many attacks YGE get, this i can get behind, I mean it works they always nail it after a long break, but its very very uncommon in Kpop to have a year off, of the bigger labels its only YGE that does it a lot and i mean a lot (Lee Hi often had years between comebacks, Ikon has had over a year now, sechkies just had a 2-3 year break, Winner once had a year, 2NE1 (dont get me started), Bigbang went something like 8 years without a full album and so on), the smaller labels sometimes cant afford a comeback, but YGE is rich (equity of about 400 Billion Won (thats around 340 Million dollars))
What is rarely mentioned about 4D is that it holds the record for female Idol group song with most hourly Paks (93 if i recall) its the 6th highest in total, the ONLY other Idol group higher is their labelmates IKON with the second highest (203 paks) only recently beaten for overall most hourly PAKS by Zico (a rapper hit song "anysong") (PAKS are Perfect-All-Kills its number 1 on all official Korean Charts realtime, daily and weekly counted by the hour after achieved, in all of 2019 only 6 PAKS were gained, BTS the only Idol group (12 hourly), the rest to artists, IU got two Paks (she has 16 songs that got a PAK the highest by far (this year her hourly was highest at 45)) AKMU got 1 (also in YGE an artist sibling duo (11 hourly paks), MC Mong got 1 (9 hourly paks)(dont get me started on his teeth... long weird story)) and Bolbbalgan4 got 1 (2 hourly paks)

It's not televise, the one you saw where they cried was when they performed their debut song for the first time they cried cause they finally got to debut after many years of training, it's like tears of joy and then they won for the first time in a music show, under two weeks when they release whistle and boombayah.

That one is called Inkigayo, and some of the others are called, 'The show', 'M countdown', and so on.
Many artists (mainly idols) which made a comeback competes in the show and people vote, listen to music, etc to make them win. The winners take a trophy-like-thingy but winning isn't that CruCIaL you know haha :)
You might get confused on who Chaeyoung is.. basically Rosé/Rosie/Roseanne. Chaeyoung is her korean name
