Aqua One AR510 & UFO550 powerhead - dismantle to clean

In this video I am cleaning the inside of the powerhead and filter components of my one and only Aqua One AquaStyle AR510 aquarium 75 litre.

I bought this aquarium back in 2011, have had to re-silicone it once a few years ago as the silicone at the bottom and side had come away and caused leaks. The original powerhead that came with the aquarium lasted from 2011 until Feb 2022 ( 11 long years! ) so this video is showing the 'new' powerhead replacement which was installed in Feb 2022.
This AR510 & UFO550 powerhead has the little squares as a pattern on it.
So if you are buying a new one make sure it is for the same model to fit the hinges/slot of the aquarium.
The golden pothos plant roots have gone through the hole on the right hand side of that black filter box then deeply embedded into the substrate (gravel, small rocks) below - so in a way I would have to carefully remove the very long root system first then I can take the filter box to the sink for a proper clean.
