- While commuting to work I was nearly sideswiped by a Nissan - fortunately I had room to avoid her. The near sideswiping is around the 3:45 to 4:00 range.
Once again enjoyed the vid , that GoPro camera is great , takes good vids , I need to get one when I get the funds . . . Be safe man , Gregg in California .
Thanks for the video! I'm getting a pcx in a few months when we move to northern Arizona. It will be a step stone bike until I can get a ctx700d. I have nerve damage on my left side, so I have to have an automatic. Once I get the ctx, I'm sure my wife will be using the pcx. Keep safe out there!
seems to stop recording after ten minu....... man you could not have planned that better if you tried.
great video. thanks
Greg, keep up the awesome videos! I have a grey pcx 150 2016, and your videos help me a lot.
Suggestion: tips on maintanence of the pcx 150. Thanks a lot!
Very intelligent riding sir... you're demener should be an example for all the other riders. Keep safe
I'm about to get me a new pcx scooter. Good videos and glad your safe. I live in Florida too and family near you.
Thanks - you will enjoy it - I noticed Honda just recently added the 2017 PCX to their website - no changes except colors - still just 2 but they brought back the Pearl White and added Dark Blue Pearl
+Gator Greg just bought a 2017. Rides excellent till you hit severe wind.
Really nice to see a fellow Honda PCX150 owner enjoying his ride . Here in California , I think I'm the only one riding a PCX150 lol . I've seen a couple older versions , and I believe maybe one other person riding a 2015 PCX , but that's it . Everyone else is on motorcycles or smaller scooters .
+Mitch3207 Yeah I see quite a few 50 cc scooters especially the Honda Metropolitans, Ruckus and various Chinese scooters. I also see a few Yami Zuma and Vespa but I don't think I've seen any other PCX on the road that I recall. I'm starting to see more Groms, I had one behind me on a road today for about a mile and I was surprised to see him keep up with me in my car at about 50 mph - I was shocked at how small it looked on the road.
I live in Southern California, a bunch of my friends bought me a pcx 150. This is my eighth scooter that I've owned. I've owned just about every type of motorcycle, I like the twist and scooters. We get to split lanes, in which I do all the time.
Man I wanna ride that scooter so badly. Looks like a blast! So much fun. Probably an adrenaline rush.
Great footage. It looks so fun.
I really want one of these scooters, this is likely to be the one I will pick (or the Forza). In the area I live in there are not many people, and all the roads have speed limits of 45-55.
Hows the mpg by 60-65mph?
Everyone likes the Honda Gram, but this bike has storage and goes faster than the Gram. The only thing about this bike I would change is I wish it had more wider and thicker tires.
Yep, that's why I traded it in for an Interceptor :)

Seems to be a review on how to ride in Florida and his jacket
What about the Pcx 150
Do you need any type of licence to start driving?
Please one question? This in Florida Newport Richey? Where's your driver this video?
Near Orlando.
what camera are you using?
I think it's the GoPro hero 3+
At traffic is Krazy
i want this scooter it looks beautiful
Thanks - they are bringing back the Pearl White for 2017 - at least in USA
Fl drivers are crazy. They don’t think they have a blinker. Still want to go back though. The PCX is kinda pricey for a scooter even used but surely better than a china 150.
I got a Tao Tao quantum 150 is holding up pretty good so far...mine tops out around 50-55mph left stock and just changed engine and gear oil...for a Chinese Scooter it's pretty good and reliable have 750km on it
I can't think of a way that the PCX is not better than a 50cc.
Much worse than this is always happening. At least in San Diego.
+moto_HYUTS Yeah you guys in California have serious balls to ride out there from what I've seen :)
+Gator Greg yup , you and I Gator Greg have the same model and year white Honda PCX150 scooter . However , here in California it is really dangerous . It's great getting through the heavy traffic , however I find myself more stressed out riding to and from work rather than being enjoyable or fun . Some days I just say screw it and I take my car . People are very reckless here , distracted drivers , cell phones , fiddling with car radios etc . Just never ends . Not to mention the haters . Otherwise I love the scooter lol . Be safe , Gregg in California .
This is better than Yamaha nmax
LOL, that lady had no idea you were there. Idiot. You were a little calm I think...because she could have kept going. I don't consider this a close call...just a slow-moving bad driver who gave you lots of time to react. :D
+spacep0d Yeah fortunately I had plenty of room to get out of her way and as I said in the video with the way that road is designed I sort of anticipate people doing that there - in fact if you look closely in my left mirror you can see that the guy in the car to my left-rear during the turn also swung into my lane. I also noticed that you can hear a faint horn just before I hit mine - it almost sounds like it's coming from one of the cars behind me who may have seen the lady creeping into my lane and was beeping to warn me - I don't think it was the lady in the Nissan's horn.
Made in thailand
Mine was made in Vietnam. I think they're made in 3 different factories now: Thailand, Vietnam, and Italy.
+Gator Greg I read on Wikipedia the PCX was manufactured in Thai Honda
