My dad bought me one of these for Christmas. I maidened it today. WOW, What a floater. Now, I had to "Really" Dial Down " the rates, But what a great flier. The best part, it lands itself. All I had to do was throttle back. Plus I have No safe on it. My First Jet, and I'm Stoked. I got Two flights on it today, and one more tomorrow

Salutes to Captain Blaz and Pilot Robert from Connecticut USA. Your review of this great little jet is spot on. I purchased the Lippisch and got it assembled and ready to go in about 1 hour. It was hardly an assembly. When I took it to my field the superb camo paint job blended in with the trees so well that before I even attempted to fly it I went home and sprayed it white with orange tips, nose and tail fin. I also added so black stripes to the underside to help with visibility. The plane flies really great but I did find one issue that was troubling. When you launch the plane the person throwing it had to use a very steep upward angle. I followed the suggestions of an RC Groups thread and blocked the lower cheater holes and now you just give it a light toss like the Panther or Stinger EDF. A good added benefit is that it got even faster. Thanks again for the great reviews and good luck. I'm glad to see your wonderful flying field in Slovenia. All that open span makes me jealous. Mark O

I bought this after I saw your episode. Let me tell you this thing is great. Slow and fast however you like it. I flew this thing for 20 minutes on one battery. Took it up then let it glide. I struggled with launch, didn’t realize how this thing pulls the nose down with full throttle but once I got used it. Thinking about putting a small camera on it. Thanks for the video. It isn’t a simple flyer I have it,it gets away from you very fast,and tip stalls very easily,turns have to be precise with power or it will fall out the sky I have low wing warbirds that are much easier to fly,it’s still my favourite though

What a great maiden guys! I really enjoy my P.15. One thing I recommend for an easy launch is to add a launch mode with up elevator on a switch. As soon as it is in the air, the you can switch it back to the perfectly trimmed plane. This keeps you from having trim it after every launch. My latest flight video shows it with me launching it using that switch.

Like you said Attila. Its not as big as Komet, but like you said better looking and the sound is really aweosme for 64mm. Cant wait to fly it with lights and to test some high speed passes so we can hear the motor screaming. I can really recommend this baby. You will love it... I bought 2 lippish one I've flown alot is a little damaged from crashes the other is unopened in the box so glad I did as they have been out of stock a while now and added the mig 15,what's your favourite out the 64mm series

I always like flying early in the morning, I am usually up by 4:00 AM most days. Locally, it is too hot and humid to fly or be outside much any time except early in the morning. Here, we build in the Summer and fly the rest of the year. Model looks good.
Great flight; Beautiful scale looking. Difficult to visual follow the plane; it has to be bigger...But hey, it’s affordable. Had to laugh about the ants, great! Time/date with the IPhone well done!!! so early in the morning!!

It refuses to take off my handle launch similar to your MIG15 crash. I am going to fly this plane no mater what as you said but need help setting it up in the DX6. How do you have it setup, as dual aileron or wing type elavon? can you also tell me which receiver to you have installed? Any help would be great. Thanks!
Hey man, I've just bought this jet too. Program it as elevon flying wing. Have a bit of nose heavy at their recommended cg as all edfs should be set up. On hand throw, throw it reasonably flat with a slight incline and you should have some take off reflex on a switch (a couple of mm of up elevator as she likes to nose down under power). When flying, flick the switch back off and monitor flight characteristics under power and gliding to trim plane to your liking. Do you have any videos of your flights? Nick.

Hey Pilot Robert! Cool flight, it looks awesome, I like the look of it better than the Me-163. Also these small 5 bladed 64mm EDF-s finally sound almost like the big ones!
Like you said Attila. Its not as big as Komet, but like you said better looking and the sound is really aweosme for 64mm. Cant wait to fly it with lights and to test some high speed passes so we can hear the motor screaming. I can really recommend this baby. You will love it... I can just imagine this baby at 1.5m wingspan and with 90mm EDF. That would really be the ultimate EDF wing to buy... Cheers my friend, Robert

What a great flyer the Lippisch P.15 is,now fix the lights and fly it in the quarry for a real spectacle,the model is small and convenient to put in a small car.

I always like flying early in the morning, I am usually up by 4:00 AM most days. Locally, it is too hot and humid to fly or be outside much any time except early in the morning. Here, we build in the Summer and fly the rest of the year. Model looks good.

I program my planes with a bit of up elevator on a switch. Once up I switch it off. Use the switches and programming folks, it's why they are there.

It refuses to take off my handle launch similar to your MIG15 crash. I am going to fly this plane no mater what as you said but need help setting it up in the DX6. How do you have it setup, as dual aileron or wing type elavon? can you also tell me which receiver to you have installed? Any help would be great. Thanks!
Hey man,
I've just bought this jet too. Program it as elevon flying wing. Have a bit of nose heavy at their recommended cg as all edfs should be set up.
On hand throw, throw it reasonably flat with a slight incline and you should have some take off reflex on a switch (a couple of mm of up elevator as she likes to nose down under power). When flying, flick the switch back off and monitor flight characteristics under power and gliding to trim plane to your liking.
