Well since supreme Kai is a telepath so he can read minds the fact he looked scared and shocked is self explanatory…goku wasn’t actually bluffing if he waited any longer goku would of actually killed him right then and there in cold blood and it makes sense since goku although kind hearted isn’t the same way when he transforms into super saiyan or higher transformations as stated before super saiyan slightly alters the user’s personality goku for example becomes less merciful and more bloodthirsty it’s just never shown because goku normally suppresses that side of himself pretty well but every now and then he is forced to let kakarot out and get shit done
nobody really knows how powerful supreme kai is apart from his statement that he could literally one shot Freeza which is not that much of an achievement during the buu saga, but he should be a bit lower than perfect Cell (not by THAT much, but yeah), since he was intimidated by Dabura (demon stated to be about as powerful as Cell)
Supreme Kai is a god. Goku was about to straight up murder a god.

the supreme kai is the highest god in this universe, his counterpart is the god of destruction. Basically supreme kai stands for creation and the management of creation. he is a powerful god but his power is not of the destructive kind, if you see his predecessors or even his counterparts from other universes you know how powerful they could be. this supreme kai has (for them) just taken the position not to long ago, and basically by necessity. he even has a mentor/servant around to advice him on things he did not learn yet.

Lmao supreme Kai sweated rain when he told goku "you gotta get through me first" lol supreme wasn't ready to fight but he was supreme standing up two saiyans in intensity
They subtly shows over and over again throughout the show that full blooded sayans love to fight. The half bloded ones dont.
Future Trunks ... when he is forced to fight tries to kill you in an instant. (Metal frieza he killed within 15 seconds. King cold he killed in about the same time frame. The androids and cell from his timeline he killed within 4 attacks)
Gohan when he powers up hits you like 4-5 times and hopes you are dead (he was blinded by the supersayan rage vs cell so he did play around there, but that's understandable)
I think it depends who they’re fighting. Trunks enjoyed bigging himself up, killing both androids and Frieza. But he’s just sick of all the trauma.
Gohan loved toying with cell and Buu. It’s the training he’s lazy with. Goten and kid trunks seem to like it too

The moment where Goku threatens to kill Supreme Kai is one of my favourite moments in the series. It is also the reason why I dislike the Goku form S. In Z Goku while still being Goku is a character that everyone can take seriously but if he did something like this in S I would never buy into it even for a second. Honestly the fact that they traded the maturity that ha had in Z for just pure silliness is really bugging me.

The stakes are high here. The reason Supreme Kai wanted to prevent them from fighting is because with each blow Vegeta deals to Goku, that power goes straight to reviving Majin Buu. Whenever anyone under Bibidi's "control" inflicts damage to someone else, that power goes to reviving Buu, who is currently in an egg.

Vegetas mindset when he first showed up is since he is an elite the he is better than Goku. Which is inaccurate. Majin Vegeta goes back to that mindset to certain manner.
All the damage Vegeta deals to Goku goes to reviving Buu so the Kai doesn't want them to fight.

Vegeta for president 2020, the prince will reclaim his throne as king, and transform the human race into a warrior race.
So I dunno if anyones sugested it but well you MIGHT enjoy the whole Gohan teaches Videl to fly thing. Its a nice bit of character enteraction between Gohan and Videl and since you don't know much about Videl yet its a neat thing you could watch to see what she's like to a certian extent. It also explaines how Gohan and the others learn how to control there energy in the series so its a nice bit of worl building as well.
You don't get gremlins wet EVER, because it makes them replicate. You don't feed them after midnight because it makes them mutate into the fucked up goblin things.

Babidi's father Bibidi created buu. Buu killed a lot of mortals but he was eventually sealed up. Bibidi had a son named Babidi who wanted to revive buu. In order to revive buu he needed to get a lot of power from around the area. Supreme Kai was trying to stop Goku and Vegeta from fighting, because it would be enough power to revive buu.
The little purple guy is actually the Supreme Kai, AKA the god of all gods. He was trying to keep them from fighting because them fighting released Buu. How much do you like Goku and Vegeta now? They released Buu.
Basically, the Kais create and watch over life in the universe and supreme kai is one of the highest if not the highest ranking among them.
"East Supreme Kai" is a God and basically the head honcho of most of Universe 7. He's King Kai's boss.
You should really watch Broly vs Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Trunks. It's pretty epic.

This fight between Goku and Vegeta was before Majin Buu was released and the energy the fight gave off powered Buu up to incredible levels. This is why Supreme Kai was trying to stop them because Buu could potentially destroy the universe.
I loved the buu saga arc. Vegeta may be arrogant but Vegeta makes sense many people have been in situations where they have competition that surpass them in something they are good at, and it can feel insulting they may feel lost.

the supeme kai is the boss of the grand kai, who is the boss of king kai. he used to be a part of a team of 4 supeme kais, and they killed bibadi and stopped majin buu long ago, at the cost of the other three. buu was a being of pure evil until a kai tricked buu into absorbing him. this changed buu's twisted, evil nature, into bratty neutral kind.
buu was created by bibidi, and thanks to this battle, revived by babadi. thier names are a disney pun.... bibidi, babadi, and buu...

Most Kai's of old used to be fighters but were all wiped out by Majin Buu centuries ago, Supreme Kai is the only one that survived and he isn't nearly as powerfull as the shows main characters. Old Kai later says that the Kai's have grown weak, in his time they never would have asked mortals for help.

Supreme kai is the god of creation, he appeared in earth coz badidi was there to gather energy to awake majin buu under his control, goku vs vegeta was leaking energy and buu's cell was absorbing the power, thats the reason supreme kai didnt want the fight to begin, it would awake buu in few minutes
also if u remember beerus, he is the god of destruction, same level of god title, god of creation is creating stars ( planets ) and generally life, god of destruction is destroying planets and lives

Supreme Kai is a God of Creation, so he isn't very powerful (well he is, but not compared to Goku) but he has a lot of authority which is why he assumed Goku would listen to him.
He is known to have a really strong power level but he is for the most part authority figure in a pretty bad one at that because a RUclipsr named of my masenko X who does the voice of Goku in DragonBall Z abridged says that using a special website he found out that there are only 28 planets in the entire universe that can sustain intelligent life and communicate with each other and his job is to create plants or being super intelligent and you don't have a prospering intelligence ecosystem of races

To answer your question about the Surpreme Kai: He is extremely powerfull, basicly the god that createst all in the universe, he is stated to be 1000 times stronger than Frieza. However, due to the redicioulus power boosts everyone gets he is kinda weak in comparison

The show is over 30 (?) years old. Hard to call anything a spoiler at this point. Unless you've been under a rock for a few decades. Also, most of Goku's heroic diolog is mostly only in the American translation, most noticeable in his first transformation into Super Saiyan back in the Frieza saga.

He is a Kai a few pay grades above King Kai, the fat thing with the antennae. He is up there with the highest governors of the universe. Really only below the King, and the God of destruction (although, he doesn't really rule anything. Just destroys to keep shit in balance).

You gotta watch battle of gods, as in we´d love to see yu react to both Beerus and Whis... And random clips like Vegeta Dancing or Vegeta vs Beerus might not cut it. It is an enjoyable movie after all, and before becoming anything bigger than it did, it was sort of a tribute to DBZ and its characters.

No one really knows how strong the Supreme Kai is, but he is strong. He's weaker than the other saiyans, but strong enough to have piccolo refuse to fight him from fear, and Piccolo should almost be able to take on Perfect Cell by this point. At this point in the story, the Supreme Kai is the highest authority of god, so he does deserve respect if his power doesn't already make others do that.
And he doesn't want Goku and Vegeta to fight because right now, Babidi is collecting power to feed to Majin Buu to awaken him from his long sleep. And any damage that Babidi's henchmen deal to our hero's (Majin Vegeta is now his henchman), that damage will be converted to energy and be given to Buu. The whole reason the Supreme Kai and the others are here is to prevent his revival.
And you seemed confused in the last video from the magic spell Babidi used, but it was to teleport them to a new location. The guys are fighting Babidi's henchman Bruce Lee "Enter the Dragon" style one at a time. And every henchman they fight, Babidi will teleport everyone to a location that will give his henchman an advantage. I hope this helps answer some questions
Actually Supreme Kai is afraid that their figh t will revive Majin Buu, not destroy the planet. With Vegeta now under Babidi's influence. Every blow he lands on Goku will be absorbed into Buu's cage.
