All the 'j''s are pronounced like English 'y'. c=English 'ts' (note: Hercegovina in Bosnian). e='a' in English 'cat' (even when final) but a following 'lj' makes an 'e' sound like 'ay' in Englsh 'say'. i=English 'ee'. č=ć='ch' in English 'choo choo'. ž= English 'z' in 'azure'. š=English 'sh'. đ='j' in English 'judge'. There are two L-sounds: soft 'lj' and hard l which has become 'o' (note: Beograd). I was told by Bosniaks that the stress in Sarajevo is as I've indicated: SaRAJevo (saray=Turkish for 'city'; 'evo' is a Slavic ending).
Serbia thought it could tell Russia what to do .. .. no stars for Serbia that night .. .. for there was No Bosnia, nor Bosna, Bosanec to speak of .. KJV* Upper Canada Amen [] O [] []
