Hi newbie here watching and enjoying. Thank you for what you do - being a teacher for that level can be hard work and you guys are never really recognized. ❤❤❤❤. I loved your expenses breakdown!!!
New sub, but your rent is out right crazy. Between your rent and your utilities that’s half your income.😢 Is there any way you can tutor on the side for some extra cash?
@@TeachingNaturall I am blessed to have no mortgage , no car payment and no student loans. That helps me a lot. However, I wish that I was you 20 years ago. I like how you budget and save money. Best wishes for a greast school year.
Thanks so much! I’m working to be like you with no student loan debt. Having none of those big money drains is truly a blessing, so I hope you’re able to do some joyful things with your money.

It may seem high, but it’s worth it for my lifestyle. While I could tutor, I prioritize my free time and mental health over making more money.
Hi! New subscriber here! I’m also a teacher- I teach 5th grade in southern NJ and am in my 26th year. Looking forward to following along! 🌷💗🌸
Congrats on 26 years and thanks for subscribing! Can’t wait to follow your journey too 😁
Hi new subbie. Great breakdown
I bring home 5,200 after 27 years of teaching in North Carolina.
Thanks for sharing! With North Carolina’s cost of living and your personal responsibilities, does $5,200 feel like a good monthly take-home for you?
