i just entered the Liberia School of Law, i really enjoy your teachings they are helping me in my endeavor, hope you continue with more. you are my personal friend.
Got a First class law degree in the UK! I believe that confidence is key! If you’re not confident with your answer then you will naturally feel like you are going to be judged by other students therefore you become nervous! One thing that i learnt is that you do not really need to look at the eyes of the professor if you feel intimidated, look between their nose!
I find it effective to practice recitations facing the mirror. Also, predicting what kind of questions the professor might throw is also very helpful. Although I just recently discovered these techniques, I'll surely apply them to my next recits after midterms. Thank you Dean! :)
Hi dean. Thank you so much for the tips. Its a big help. It’s our first class later in PFR. Keep safe always Dean. May God bless you. Hope to more law school tips.
Hi po, Dean! Your channel helps a lot of aspiring lawyers and law students. Been hearing that recits are difficult in law school, so I've been really nervous about it. I just watch a lot of informative and helpful vids like yours po to help me cope with my nerves (tho I haven't enrolled yet hihi). More power to your channel po, Dean!
Felt disappointed when I heard "weed out students who can't survive law school". "Some were asked to quit when they don't get the grade required."😭😭 Dean, I am a third year BSED English Student planning to enter law school. I am not good in logical and analytical thinking. Not fond of reading. Any motivation po?
I was not a fan of reading as well. It took a while. Since you are third year, maybe start small. Read "thin" novels first. Read the type of stories you like. Then gradually increase to thicker books. For logical and analytical thinking, it can be learned. You do it everyday at school anyway.
Good evening, Dean! I'm 1st year in Law and tomorrow will be the start of class. Our Crim Pro already assigned 20 cases and we will directly have recit in the first day of class😢 however, I really don't know Dean, all those jargon words and as a freshmen reading 20 cases, this Tuesday napo recit namin and I don't know what to do po talaga since it's all new to me Tapos as I read I can't remember all po😢😢😢 Baka susundin ko nalang po yung tips nyo na be honest😢 Thank you po Dean!
Hi dean, i would like to ask your opinion, this may sound out of the context but it's possible to pass the bar without passing CSE or Philsat? Thanks ❣️
Hi Shaira. I will always go back to the idea why I wanted to be a lawyer. Also, accepting the fact that breakdowns and burnouts are normal in law school.
Yes and no. The books will provide the law and the author's opinion. But a law professor might ask you questions like "Why so" or "What if". That will have to be answered by you using what you learned.
Thanks for the tips Dean. I am a fan from Cebu. I will enroll in a law school next year hopefully with face to face classes allowed. At least I have now clearer picture on what to expect and how the norms are going in a law school. Just a question though: in the context of a law class or session, is there a substantial difference in terms of quality education between a face to face and an online class? I was to enroll this year but since it was declared that f2f classes are prohibited due to covid 19, i hesitated and eventually turned down any possible school activities for fear that i might not get the same quality if i am to enroll for an online law class. Is there a huge difference? Thanks Dean!
Thank you for your comment. As a law school dean, I firmly believe in having face to face classes. Online classes may work in college but law school requires the regular way. There is a huge difference. If you want, I would wait till face to face classes comes back.
As a first year college student who took up Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Program, my question po dean is, can I still be accepted into law school even if somewhat, I will not graduate with an english literacy major? (Or even socsci, philo, legal management, etc) hope for your response and more power to you and your channel Atty!😇
Hi po Dean. I'm a senior high graduate and planning to take BSED English kasi choice po yun ng family ko pero my first choice talaga is to study a pre-law course. Pwede po bang pagsabayin yung dalawa or magte-take na lang po ng units?
Hi sir I'm currently taking A.b political Science at UCC congress. I'm not really good at analytical skills and have low confidence in speaking public. How can I survive this?
You can learn quickly. Reading books and summarizing them is one way to start. As far as speaking in public, its not a requirement for law school. You can survive. But if you want to improve confidence, I would suggest if speaking in public, is to focus on three people on the audience, better if they spaced apart and just look at those three people alternatively when speaking

Going to law school is a big commitment. there are also some perils in so far pressures in and out of class. If you want just want to learn the law, some master's degree courses have law subjects. At least you won't have the dreaded "socratic" type of recitation as they do in law school.
Not at all. I started law school when I was 29, married with one child. The Associate Dean of one law school started in her late 30's and was a bar examiner twice since becoming a lawyer

Hello, Dean! Any tips for those who are planning to take law but as a working student?
Thank you!
Talk to your boss that you are planning to take up law. Maybe you can make some new work arrangement. Prepare to lose nights and weekends to studying.
Hi po, are the questions that the teacher will ask all be in the books?
Yes and no. The books will provide the law and the author's opinion. But a law professor might ask you questions like "Why so" or "What if". That will have to be answered by you using what you learned.
Thank you for the advice.😊
Pwede po ba mag Taglish during recitation?
depends on the professor. But usually not

Is Bachelor of Arts in Psychology a Pre-Law Course?
I would say so.
