The other day he cursed me and my 5 year old daughter out. He proceeded to scowl and pull out a chessboard and play 1.b3 making my daughter panic, totally threw her out of opening preparation and she had a panic attack. Truly despicable.
As someone who played a LOT of chess when I was younger (I'm not that good lol), I really don't find chess as content fun. Chess is fun to play, but watching others play who are mostly talking about strategies is imo not my idea of good content. But hey, if a lot of people like it, maybe I just have a bad take lol

Hey NL, quick pointer: if you open with d4, you almost never want to block your c pawn in with the knight. Like, push c4 before playing Nc3. Pretty easy rule to follow that is almost always right (Jobava London is the main counterexample).
