When I was about 13, a friend of our family gave this album to me as a gift. She worked as the Principal's secretary at Pier Avenue School in Hermosa Beach, CA. Back then, they showed surfing films in their auditorium every Friday or Saturday night and whoever brought the film must have given it to her as a gift. I really enjoyed that album, but never saw the film until just now. I also learned that Dennis Dragon is brother to Daryl Dragon, aka the Captain from Captain and Tenille.
One of my favorite clips. I was front row for all this. Best of times!

A classic surf movie by Hal Japsen. Sound track arranged by Denis Dragon from Surf Punks. Single fin with no leash days. Two Sunset greats BK and Hackman are ripping.
13:37- Hey.... H A A A A Y ! ! I C'N SEE YER CRAAAAK ! Haha- innocent fun and a most amazing era. Had this album in me 18th year of life - checked out the movie earlier, however "technology" in the "Shakey Isles" was lacking to say the least!! Crikey- surfers were lucky to find candles (wax traction) at the local hardware store let alone others further north. (or south- waves were not too foul either way on either coast!) Anyways- this movie, and sound track ( favourite is "DRAINPIPE,") is inspirationable and a credit to the makers.

see on the video clip that Velvet Turner gets mentioned as a music contributor, but can't see his name anywhere on the LP release, you know if he had an AKA perhaps?

were can i buy the full recording of the soundrack-2 record set as a digital download ? was this soundtack-recording every released as a CD ? I see the original LP is now selling for $100-$300 range.
Sundazed is releasing it as 2 LP/ CD as of 6-10-18.(Sundazed Records website is great).
