You never see a Tour rider with a pork chop sticking out of their jersey pocket or the team car handing out bags of sausage rolls from the window. It's good you're promoting the cycling and your City.
Harley i lost a couple stone starting a couple of years took me about 6 months. It was effortless and no suffering like you have said many times. Then I got injured in work and had a lot of time off and over time put it all back on by eating normal foods and not exercising. I want to start again but I can't exercise like I used to and I have a terrible body type and genetics for losing weight but I'm sick of being heavy. I want to lose about 4 stone this time! For me a sauna is a good substitute if you can't exercise cos it still gets your heart pumping and increasess circulation. That's been my thing while i've had an injury at least. I just started my carb / sugar diet again today. I'm watching your old vids for inspiration. All the old stuff give me more motivation cos life was completely different back then so it feels different watching old 2012 vids vs recent stuff. Wish me luck.
Yes, old rim brake bikes are lighter. My rim brake Campy equipped Ridley from 2014 in an unpainted finish is 6.3 kg and still feels lighter with two full bottles on when I carry it up the stairs from the basement than my 2021 Bianchi Oltre aero bike (the last rim brake version they made). The difference I notices is that the Ridley feels like it hits a top-speed wall around 47 kph, whereas 450w on the Oltre gets you going over 50kph. The question is whether you want to drag that extra weight up a hill in order to be faster on the descents and faster at full gas on the flats. For me, it depends on the day, so I keep both bikes as options.
It sucks the bike industry just tells us what we want,no asking just telling us we "need disk brakes, and heavier bike"...it won't last,I think people will wake up.
It will last because discs are normalised by now. And the bikes ride better than the first gen of disc bikes so the longer it goes on the less chance of going back
Glad to see Michelle in the vidz for a change. She actually looks like a runner. You should do vidz with real sporty girls, instead of models that can talk
@@MyDigitalCult Last time I saw Natasha riding she was deep in the red while at any normal cyclist's recovery pace, I was passing her at over 6w/kg to be fair but she did not look fast at all 😂
@@pranalight76 No clue what mistake you're referring to, he makes a lot of them. And I don't care if he loses Natasha or not, that isn't my business. I'm merely stating the truth (that Natasha is a mediocre cyclist)
Bro got multiple wifes now - thats the power of carbs, carb up ftw

Did you ask the Five O what they eat rather than Donuts and infringement booklets 😂

Stop it, Natasha is very kind and a great girlfriend to Harley. Do you want Harley to lose her and make the same mistake he did years ago 🍌?
