I think there is a big piece missing in the equation- finances. I think Dani having a successful career at a young age and financial stability are huge in the equation of getting married young. A lot of people are in college at 19, or at the very beginning of their careers and this impacts the decision.
I don't get why everyone act as if being married is so complicated? Plenty of married couples still attend college, etc. It's really not as big of a deal as society makes it.
I 100% agree with this. Financial stability is definitely one of the deciding factors in getting married. I would argue that personally, it’s one of the only reasons I’m not already married to my boyfriend of 4 years at 20.
The key to getting married young---and staying married (I was 21 and my husband was 22 when we got married) is to always be willing to be patient while your partner is going through growth and change. If you start out agreeing to that, you'll always just be each others cheerleaders and your relationship will be strong. Also, don't expect perfection. There's no such thing. We've been married 30 years next Aug,
I was engaged at 18, married at 19. December we will celebrate 14 years, have 4 beautiful little girls between 10-5 years old. It has been a lot of work, some years were not pretty, a couple times I didn’t know what was going to happen, but we were both committed to figuring things out and we did and are both better individuals and as a couple because of it :)
The red flags comments really bothered me in your first videos married to Emmyn because I thought Emmyn has a fantastic sense of humor from the start. You can’t go wrong dating someone who makes you laugh so much
Seriously! I don't even know them personally, but these comments were just mean and stupid. It's their relationship and as we see now, they are both on the same page, really mature and madly in love with each other :)

you've really changed my life 6 years ago. I was depressed as hell and i didnt know what to do, I saw a video of dani and she really stood out to me. Im greatful for dani
The end of the video “Ryan Trahan and Haley Pham need to press pause” has a lot of data about the reasons why the divorce rate is so much higher (60% I think?) for couples under 25 and some hard questions beyond “do are life plans match up” that might come up during marriage such as “how would you handle having a child with disabilities”, “how would you handle having a child who identifies as lgbtq+” “what would you do if your partner lost their faith” etc. Personally I think a lot of people get married and divorced young because your personality and consequently your life plans can change pretty drastically in your 20s because your frontal lobe isn’t done developing until your mid 20s. If you guys can grow together and communicate and compromise healthily as your plans and personalities change then I think it can still work, it’s just when you aren’t willing to compromise or stick with your partner as they grow and change that divorces happen... but what do I know! Sorry for the essay lol love ur videos!!
I totally agree! I love Ryan and Haley and I think they’re doing amazing but I definitely agree that people don’t understand or estimate correctly the life changes that will occur as you grow older. This comment definitely had some great points that I missed :)
That was a very insightful video. Those questions(besides the ones directed at them specifically) are things everyone who plans on getting married needs to think about.
Dani Calleiro thanks! I got married at 20 and we did it and it did not changed our relationship. We still love each other even if we were not married. I thing marriage is not a big thing is just a paper. The most important thing is that you love each other and are happy with your company and you are there for them no matter what
I got married almost 3 months ago at 19 also! I finally told my family last week that I got married and they were happy for me, but they were sad that I didn't tell them as soon as it occurred. I was scared at first that people would judge me about being young and how it won't last, but I learned to live with no regrets. I love my husband so much and we are a good team with the same morals. People always think that bc you are young, you are not emotionally mature. I am 18 and I am definitely not emotionally ready to get married or be a mother, but some people are. My parents had my brother at 25, and me at 30 and they are not emotionally mature. I love them and they have done their best, but I do think they should have waited to have kids. They were what society deems as a perfect age to have kids, but they weren’t mentally there yet. I think ppl were and continue to be worried about you and Emmyn because you are so young, and so many things can change. What people don’t understand is that everyone is different, you are doing what you believe is right for you. In the end there is a higher chance for you to get divorced because of your age, but if you are happy and growing with each other then none of that should matter. I love seeing how much you’ve grown since leaving the band, and the person you have become. I really look up to you even though you’re only 2 years older than me. Wishing you two the best, and I hope you are happy💕 thx for reading my essay lol
I got married at 18 & im now 20 & its been two years almost three of tribulations that have been worth the growth. The first two years i called the terrible two’s because its still an adjustment but with time progression and much love and thought you make it the best you can 🤍💯
It's so interesting how the definition of being 'too young" to be married has changed over time. My Nana was nineteen when she married my Papa and they just celebrated 61 years of marriage. And her being nineteen was totally normal! No one thought they were too young. Marriage isn't something to take lightly but assuming a marriage is going to fail just because it's a young couple is just... silly?
it‘s so good to see you being happy and successful in life! i practically grew up with you hahahaha i used to watch the Cimorelli videos when you were like 11 and i was 10 and i desperately wanted to be friends with you...😂 it‘s truly crazy how fast time goes by!! i‘m happy for you dani❤️
Thank you so much for these videos! I really learn a lot from you talking about these things that we might not yet have an understanding of. A part-two of this would be really good!!
Hey Dani:) I have ocd as well. My boyfriend has been very lovely with understanding me and learning more about it with me. When I get very anxious from my thoughts, he’s been amazing at taking care of me and walking me through things. I’m in therapy and learning how to take care of myself through those moments, but it’s still amazing to have a partner who cares to learn what I need, and what to do when I’m being a certain way. As someone with ocd, that’s all I can ask for in a significant other! I think it’s amazing that you help Emmyn work through that and learn more about it for him. It can be a very very scary disorder and it’s a truly beautiful feeling to know you have someone there for you. You’re awesome 💕
Daniiii !!!! im so proud of you !!! watching you since you were super little to now and wow !!! you’ve grown so much !!! i love your content and you are such an inspiration!!!!!!!
I got married at nineteen. It has been almost four years now! It has worked out because we had similar beliefs, and wants for our life! Your advice is definitely accurate and I would have loved to watch your videos before I got married!
what you said about emotional scarring your kids because of being young is so true!! i understand it’s not most young parents’ intent but it is something that does happen! i am pretty observant so i’ve noticed how parents who’ve had their kids in their early 20’s have treated their kids vs parents who had kids in their 30s have treated them. and there are pros and cons to both and everyone is different but being older usually means you are more emotionally mature. (and more financially stable as well) sadly, the human body is not always built to have kids older :(
The positive changes that I see in her since I started watching her and the band 10 years ago are insane. Setting yourself free from oppressive religions and standards of living, and only focusing on being the best you can be for yourself is the best thing you can do.
hey dani im in class again oop but im also so proud of you and it honestly insoires me so much how youre achieving so many of your dreams, i cant believe you and emmyn have been married for a year, i feel like it was jusr last week since you announced your engagement. youre doing awesome, keep it up dani!
I would say that the whole “don’t go to bed angry” thing is not necessarily the correct approach every time. Sometimes you need to go to bed angry so that you can get some sleep and distance to realize whether or not it was worth fighting over.
I can see that Dani and Emmyn work because -dated for 1 year, so actually knew each other -were the same age, on the same page -practicality is so important -financially stable
I just wanna say that I really loved this. I actually prayed to God to send me some advice about this today and this was the first thing to show up on my home page. Thank you for sharing your story and being so open about all of this. 🥺🤗

The first two years i called the terrible two’s because its still an adjustment but with time progression and much love and thought you make it the best you can 🤍💯
honestly you and emmyn work so well with each other!
I got married at 17, I would never regret it! This year makes 5 years🤍
OK GIRL U WERE GLOWING IN THIS VIDEO
I love how Dani is thriving in this video🥰🙏🏻
ONE WHOLE YEAR ARE YOU JOKING ME ?? time flies,, congrats ! :)
Keep uploading stuff like this, you are so very helpful Dani for real!! 🙏💖
It's so interesting how the definition of being 'too young" to be married has changed over time. My Nana was nineteen when she married my Papa and they just celebrated 61 years of marriage. And her being nineteen was totally normal! No one thought they were too young. Marriage isn't something to take lightly but assuming a marriage is going to fail just because it's a young couple is just... silly?
She is so happy and cute at 0:26 🥺❤️LOVE YOU DAN! 😂
also you’re gorgeous in this video! you always are but your makeup is on fire!!
it‘s so good to see you being happy and successful in life! i practically grew up with you hahahaha i used to watch the Cimorelli videos when you were like 11 and i was 10 and i desperately wanted to be friends with you...😂 it‘s truly crazy how fast time goes by!! i‘m happy for you dani❤️
I gotta say that even tho we are the same age YOU ARE A GREAT ROLE MODEL FOR ME 💓 I really appreciate what you do 🌸💖☺️
Dani, I'm so happy for you. One year already?? Can't believe it.... Despite your age, you are so mature though!! I really admire you ❤
I’m addicted to this channel🥰😆! keep it upp daniiii!
It's crazy mad how she is been married for a year now !!!
Love ya!❤️
I've been waiting for this and I love it!!❤️❤️
You’re looking as gorgeous as ever!! Hope you’re doing well and are very happy. Wishing you all the best girl🥰💗
Can't believe it's been one year since you little cute princess get married and left cimorelli 😭I miss you so so much,I miss the way you sing😭❤️
I got married at nineteen. It has been almost four years now! It has worked out because we had similar beliefs, and wants for our life! Your advice is definitely accurate and I would have loved to watch your videos before I got married!
omg getting this notification made me so happy!!
My mum was 35 when she had me and we have a better relationship than anyone else we know.
what you said about emotional scarring your kids because of being young is so true!! i understand it’s not most young parents’ intent but it is something that does happen! i am pretty observant so i’ve noticed how parents who’ve had their kids in their early 20’s have treated their kids vs parents who had kids in their 30s have treated them. and there are pros and cons to both and everyone is different but being older usually means you are more emotionally mature. (and more financially stable as well) sadly, the human body is not always built to have kids older :(
The positive changes that I see in her since I started watching her and the band 10 years ago are insane. Setting yourself free from oppressive religions and standards of living, and only focusing on being the best you can be for yourself is the best thing you can do.
hey dani im in class again oop
but im also so proud of you and it honestly insoires me so much how youre achieving so many of your dreams, i cant believe you and emmyn have been married for a year, i feel like it was jusr last week since you announced your engagement. youre doing awesome, keep it up dani!
yesss danii!! u look amazing with straight hairr
Your makeup in this is stunning
Omg I'm actually early! Thanks for being honest with us dani!
I would say that the whole “don’t go to bed angry” thing is not necessarily the correct approach every time. Sometimes you need to go to bed angry so that you can get some sleep and distance to realize whether or not it was worth fighting over.
Dani you look so beautiful 💗 and your hair looks amazing straight ☺️
I’ve been with my bf since we were in high school. we moved in together 6 months later and now it’s been 5 years. When you know, you know! 💕
dani, you look so pretty in this vid! also - congrats on one year!!
DANI YOU’RE SO GORGEOUS INSIDE AND OUT ✨
You are special to me Dani, thanks for that!! 💓
I can see that Dani and Emmyn work because
-dated for 1 year, so actually knew each other
-were the same age, on the same page
-practicality is so important
-financially stable
I love the straight hair!
Wednesday is my new favorite day of the week because of your videos ❤
I just wanna say that I really loved this. I actually prayed to God to send me some advice about this today and this was the first thing to show up on my home page. Thank you for sharing your story and being so open about all of this. 🥺🤗
Got engaged to my wife in Feb 2018 married in November 2018. I was 19 she was 23 And we couldn’t be happier ❤️😍
i would LOVE a part two. my boyfriend and i are young really see this as long term but have lots of questions about when is “right” to get married and this helped me sort things out SO much❤️❤️
So well spoken!! Well done Dani, luv u ❤️❤️
