This is one of the very few groups that can actually sing. Each member in the group has a suited voice that blend well when they harmonize together. Some members are better singers than the other...Nathan, but all of the members have pretty good voices. I think this is a great group, its too bad that they are not together. Vocally I think they are much better than one direction and other groups. Despite beliving that this is a great group I do believe that some of the members are better off solo artist for instance, Nathan and Max. First of all Nathan's voice is amazing, his tone is rich and he has a very soulful voice. Additionally his runs are amazing. Also, Max has this unique sound and his voice just sounds like it is meant to be by itself. Anyway this was a great group vocally and they deserved to be much bigger than they were.
C.C.L for an artist to be successful they need a combination of both talent and likability. However, this group is likable but I believe that their musical style didn't suit their audience. It really comes down to the focus of their music, I do not believe that their songs did their talents justice and that I feel is the reason why they did not have a more successful career.
I've watched this hundreds of times and each time I remain equally as baffled over how 1D were bigger than them... The Wanted were and always will be far superior in my opinion. There are multiple reasons, poor promotion/marketing like y'all said. Looks were also a big factor, for a boyband the wanted looked older and edgier compared to one direction. The only member that fit the boyband look was Nathan, most likely due to his younger age, he actually shares the same birth year with 3 1d members, but besides him the rest of the members didn't fit the boyband look
@@kryo4491 I absolutely agree - they didn't fit the boyband look at all. It's just a shame they had little to no marketing and then the poor album sales were blamed on them. I have spoken to Jay and Siva since making this comment and they have both said there were a lot of politics with management that just didn't fit them, their look and their overall brand.

I have, and always will, love these boys. I've grown and changed music taste a lot since these lads were in my life but I will always fall back to my first obsession. I can't wait for them to get back together and make more music. Even if it takes them another 7 years, I'll be waiting. It will be the best day of my life when they come back for a 4th album

I dont know if anyone realizes how amazingly talented they are! Their harmonies are to die for. And obviously yes they are VERY attractive. But really it's not all about that. They actually care about the music also. They write most of their music and that's a sign of a true musician! I absolutely love them!
No they are vocally superior to 1D. you can barely tell when someone different is singing in 1D. just because they all have different voices doesn't mean they are vocally inferior.
