This song screams at you that something isn't right.....the way it just starts off calm and then suddenly picks up a with a continuous pace getting more intense as you realize what is really taking place
When Shouko was a child, around the time her mother was being pressured by divorce with her father, Shouko didn’t know she couldn’t hear. She would hit her Kiddie Xylophone not knowing why the sounds were so distant, and kept at it, eventually banging them to hear the notes. I find that the song reflects that, the beat pacing quicker and louder as the emotions rage ablaze.
Anyway good job with that reference, thanks to you now i know the reason why kensuke used that instrument in this song, a thing that if you had read the manga makes you smile of a "not well known" but important part of the story.
She couldn’t feel the vibration of shoya landing on the floor or hear the sound of him screaming since she was by a ledge and all she thought about was jumping at this point
@@inspiration356 well it was mostly due to the fireworks. She can hear a tiny bit, so she would have heard shoya if not for the fireworks. But yes, you are correct that she didn't react to shoya calling her name out (Also in the manga he only calls her by her first name - shoko. He doesn't call her nishimia)
This is how you make the viewers feel stressed; the music speeds up and gets more intense, then stops. With some visual effects, it gives the signal that something terrible is happening.
This music is basically your brain in a serious situation: At first you catch a glimpse of the scene and it doesn't really register. Then you stare a bit more and start to realize what is actually happening. Once you realize, you have to figure out how you're going to diffuse the situation and your mind starts racing. Finally you decide in those last moments what you need to do. Then you act.
I'm normally into dubs, but one thing about the sub that I like is how shoya called shoko by her last name throughout the movie but at that one part he screamed her first name
I love how it's almost as if the sounds show how fast Shouyas thoughts are racing when he sees Shouko at the balcony about to jump, and I feel scared and panicked all over again.
this is my favorite song in the movie. It’s so calm at the start and gets so intense as shouko is about to jump. It's like its showing how quick something can go so wrong.
This track starts out very calm, but slowly gets more and more suspenseful. I’ve heard many pieces of suspenseful music from Hans Zimmer, but this, in my opinion, tops them all.
This song represents a panic attack. It starts off like If its nothing, THEN It gets scarier and scarier, you start to sweat and feel like everyone is staring at you, you just want to run from everything and everyone. You feel sick like youre dying. Everything gets more scary.
_“This feels like my anxiety. When I’m having an anxiety attack, it feels like almost nothing at the beginning. But then, it keeps growing and growing until I can’t even handle it anymore”_ - ✨
BRO THIS SONG IS TICKING ME like how it goes calmly slow then faster and intense AND LOUDER this song is strangely crawling in my back but i still love this song
This is the only movie that made me want to jump through the screen and help! I practically had to pause the movie because I was hyperventilating way too much. A movie that can make you feel like that and make you way to emotionally invested is a great movie in my book. Who watched in 2021?
This is a very accurate depiction of what feelings and emotions probably is racing through a persons head before they decide to end it... its strange for me how the song start so calm and speed up really fast, this reminds me of living - its easy at the begining and its getting hard so fast...
This is my favorite movie of all time. When she was about to kill herself I was literally crying and when he was there watching and when he ran and fell I was like she dead I don’t think I ever cried that much.
I cried so much the first time this scene came on, but rewatching it after only gives me slight anxiety because i know Shouko doesnt end up killing herself, now the only scene that gets me to the point of tears is the end, specially the part where shouko smiles
I like how the song starts calm like how Shouya thought Shouko was watching the fireworks, but then it gets more intense as Shouya realized that Shouko is going to commit suicide, and at the end it fades out and represents Shouya's relief that he even managed to catch Shouko
It's actually funny: everybody hate Naoka Ueno, but by doing so, they ignore and even sympathize with Miki Kawaii. She was the only one out of the bullies who looks to fix the damage made to Ishida. How does she get more hate than Miki? I. DON'T. GET. IT.
