One thing I can’t understand is in the box Jasper is supposed to be this major soldier they called him “the god of war “and yet the Voltori were able to kill him in an instant. It’s inconceivable. If anything they should have really touched on his threatening skills. Not leave them out to be a whimp who gets killed the first time
when did they call him the god of war in canon? I'm pretty sure the fandom made that a thing but maybe I missed it

Jasper was attacked & weakened with Pain before being torn apart by vulturi's most powerful man. Even Edward buckled in d presence of Pain. How could anyone have survived that multi-attack.
Something else to consider is that the Vulturi are hundreds of years older, and with that much more experience in war than even Jasper has. If I remember correctly, Jasper was "born" during the American Civil War which took place in the late mid 1800s. The Vulturi date back at least to the 1300s. I can't remember the exact timeline of the Vulturi from the books.
