P&O Iona vs Online Shopping: Price Showdown!

- There's a huge selection of shops onboard P&O Iona cruise ship. It has always made me think whether the shops are a bit of a tourist trap and whether you are really getting a good deal. So in today's Cruise Show UK I challenge the onboard shops against buying online from home.

Another excellent video. Loved the comparison shopping idea! Keep the videos coming - always love your content!!! I do not buy much onboard - with the exception of some exclusive items onboard Princess ships . Swarovski often has Princess cruise exclusive merchandise that I cannot resist!!!

Thanks John. Yes there are many more shops on Iona, compared to Britannia. It was an interesting test. I never thought I’d was cheaper to buy onboard.

Good to know I was not ripped off, Claire said it was a good price so got me to get her a Peony and Blush suede as well !
I didn’t mind as it smells lovely on her.

I’m on Iona in 3 weeks time. The shops look a lot more impressive than the likes of Ventura and Britannia!

I was really quite surprised by those findings. I have bought a couple of Skagan watches previously and a DJ - left mine hanging behind a door at home :-( , never bothered to check on how much they were online - did not want to find I had spent more than needed :-) pleased with both.
Thanks Peter… before this test, I was certain the onboard shops were always more expensive. I was really surprised to find, that on Iona, there were deals to be had. It’s got me thinking about other ships/lines. So, I may repeat this exercise on another line/ship in the future. Thanks again for watching. David
Problem is you have to spend to save. My parsimonious approach to opening my wallet is what keeps me occupied during my cruises.
