    Great Video... Is there any advantage in shooting in HDR and delivering in SD (709) probably a a dum question but I to had to ask.

      There are no dum questions 😀 and Yes thats exactly what you can do. Shoot in HDR so it captures details in Bight and dark areas. Then in an editor as you said deliver in Rec 709 so no one has issues and it still looks great! . Also as it's in HDR you have a choice of delivering in 10bit HDR if you wanted to . Win win!

    Is iPhone SDR always less than 10 bit?
    In CinemaP3 I have noticed that SDR, too, has a 10 bit option. Am I right?

      The iPhone 12 and Pro models can capture 10-bit SDR video. The Cinema P3 Camera App has a "10-bit 709" format that allows for 10-bit SDR video capture
