Daikin Minisplit Not Cooling Normally. Finding and Repairing a Refrigerant Leak EP92

Found a Daikin Minisplit was not cooling properly. Weighed the charge and found the unit was short 1 lb and change. I performed a nitrogen pressure test found and repaired the leak. Also how to use a CPS torque wrench.

Is this a multizone mini split if so how can I recover the Freon into the unit from the main line

Do you not remove the schrader cores? The access to service valves on these units are horrible for a 5/16 Schrader core remover. Is it easier to just leave them in and use the 45 ball valves like you got here?

I have a question about vacuum and getting under 500 microns. Since you pulled under 500 micron mark, Does it matter that the micron numbers jump back up as your getting ready to charge the system?

As long as it stays well below 1000 microns you’re good.

I have three daikin heads. They all connect to the compressor outside. My two bedroom heads are perfect and blow ice cold. My living room only blows ice cold when they top it off with refrigerant . A week later it goes from blowing warm air for a while then back to cool air but never ice cold like the bedrooms. They came out snd said they found a leak. But a week later here we are and the same thing is happening. What is going on !!!

This is clearly installation error, daikin didn’t make those flare joints..
