Analyzing and establishing short term goals is the best way to succeed long term! I like to think of a our business as something that’s always evolving and even still, our goals are constantly cycling between clients-money-and portfolio. I just wish i lived in the states, here in Sweden its soooooo hard to reach the customers and even harder to get paid for the jobs i do, everyone wanna have it for free. The editing software costs more than getting lighting equipment 😂 but I agree. I started off editing bad quality pictures and had to rely on my editing to make the pictures nice and that’s given me a huge boost

Lol but now I’m thinking about doing more of my detailed product shots for brand deals. Maybe I can get somewhere with it

Everyone starts somewhere! I believe that your pricing should reflect your skill level, not industry standards. At first, some may consider product photography as a secondary job or even a hobby. Once they are confident in their skills $30 is absolutely too low!

Yes! In the early stages I did not however, I got burned several times and quickly learned the importance of having one in place :)
