From a retired electrician you did a good installation. Make sure you upgrade the original doorbell transformer for 16 to 24 volt 30va or it will not work.
Please explain your comment with a bit more detail? Home Depot recommends a three connection upgrade but it has no documentation on the configuration in reaching the 24 Volt goal you recommend. Why would you do this in the first place? Please be more explicate. Are you comfortable with this wiring change? The brand offered by HD is UTILECT (Transformer). Again, it is a step up transformer but fails to identify which of the 3 terminals it takes to reach said 24 Volt.
@@dewhittjames I see many commercial grade transformers in my working career with 3 taps, Usually you use the 16 volt tap for the doorbell. Sorry for not explaining that.
This was so funny... the battery if stuck on the chime would make the chime sound so funny... and the wrong screw into the bottom of the doorbell to secure the faceplate. The bolt was way too long. Great attempt and a good job letting people know that they can do it themselves. I really enjoyed the comedy though...

For the security screw, did you use the star or Phillips screw??
4:14 I’m going to screwing for awhile, Tbh I didn’t pay attention until she starts laughing... 😂
What to do with the PRO POWER KIT if i also have a rear Ring Doorbell? How to install the second one.
Wish it was that easy
Can someone help me with how to install my ring pro (I don't have doorbell). I don't understand these videos, makes no sense to me
You can use a plug in adapter..it has to be AC not DC. You can get it from Ring or Amazon or any store that deals with electronics.
No one ever tells you how to connect the two wires from the outside doorbell and the two wires from the then to the doorbell
Good video made me laugh, when you laughed.
i only have a machete for home defense. 😆
20 seconds.........was it as good for you as it was for me?
Yet RING doesn’t support HomeKit. Deal breaker
