Can’t believe I’m watching a review of Wolfsbane. Finally we have her! My only gripe, and I agree with you is her color. If anything, Ferrel would be more of the orange shade and Wolfsbane would be more brown. But at least we have her! Hopefully we get the other furry ladies next year!

Great review. That early X-Factor series by Peter David, and Larry Stroman was really good. We need a Val Cooper figure.
The white circle behind the X logo where the rest of the team has the (correct) yellow circle breaks my brain.

A long waited character finally in figure form! A couple of females to complete other X teams are still due but this give us hope!
She's had three figures before this.
The ML New Mutants Dani head swap version, seen here.
ToyBiz did two versions, one 5" repaint of Deathbird in the Previews exclusive She-Force line, and then the proto-ML New Mutants wave with Magik, where she was in a more lupine form, but fit in really well with early MLs.
Can’t wait for mine to arrive. Wolfsbane is one of my favorite characters. 😍

We DID get a proto-ML 6" Wolfsbane from ToyBiz, in the 3 figure New Mutants subline/wave. She was naked(!!) in a more lupine form for that, plus a "real" hair tail! If her transformation was in stages, this figure would be stage 1, TB stage 2, and then a full wolf form in stage 3.
(which, I am SO glad I grabbed an extra Snake/Timber set at Ross, now!)
Also, a Previews exclusive She-Force 5" figure before that, which was basically Deathbird in brown with felt tufts glued to her hair! and for some insane reason, she came with Marrow's bones?!? LOL
Her hair seems a bit "big" for me. Maybe they're already planning to reuse it for Feral? or Thornn?
I do agree a darker wash at least on outer biceps and thighs would work wonders.
Did I miss you not mentioning the different shades of yellow between torso and abdomen?
Also, the (X) should be closer to her shoulder, overlaying the blue, as seen on Polaris in the comparison shots.
I'd LOVE to get my hands on this wave, but I'd need at least three extra of her for customs.
(and now I have the image of her as a female Beast in my head....!)

I only own Havok and Polaris. I saw Multiple Man one time in stores, and then never ever again.
Loved the 90's X-Factor comic (still have every issue) and so excited to complete this team (I'm not a completionist, so only display a few choice figures), but they really need to do a special re-release of Multiple Man in some sort of X-Factor costume, he's just become too prohibitively expensive.
Heard that! I saw some lot on ebay recently selling like 20 figures of him for like 700 bucks. I blame those scalpers for making him hard to locate. You think with army builders Hasboro would come up with some kind of three pack.

I have been waiting for so long to complete the best X-Factor team can't wait to get Wolfsbane on the display.
Loved this character in New Mutants. Hated almost everything they did with her after that. Will get this because I'm such a fan. Thanks for the review!

I hope so, she is a character worthy of the upgrade for sure 🙏🏻
Maybe a rerelease of her in a 5pack down the road with a toned down color.
She looks ok but Rahne was definitely a darker shade of brown the hairs not to bad a colour but definitely nearer to Feral's orange fur than Rahnes. Also not being able to get into a crouched down stance is really annoying, but suppose I'll ust have to modify her like most of the female marvel legends.

When did Wolverine train her? X-Force in the utopia era maybe but they didn’t really interact until she was a full on adult
Wolverine mentions training her in X-Force issue 4 from 2008 page 2 when talking to X-23. They don't actually interact much when Rahne was a New Mutant on panel but they do interact a little in the minis Knight of Terra and Rahne of Terra.

I don't know there are many other offerings we should have had instead of Wolfsbane. Maybe I didn't find her that interesting.
Also, you forgot Random from that X-men villains 5-pack for you X-Factor team.
Yes Random did join the team eventually but I never forgot him, I literally show the reference of the team I was recreating. Is there anything in this review you did approve off? Your allowed to mention them aswell 😅😂

Wolfsbane never wore this New Mutants costume, at that time she was in X-Factor Investigations, Hasbro should have added an extra Magik or Magma head
Punisher as we know him is being "cancelled" because of the gun thing. I can't wait to see the Ikaris review...
This figure has HORRIBLE articulation. Some of the worst ab crunch and forward kick I've ever seen, especially for an agility based character like this.
