Plain and simple. Sometimes less is more. Don't put your knives in the oven for temper the Blade. I see it in the most Video from Knifemakers. Ca one Hour by ca 180 degrees. chapeu
Im still using traditional way for temper a blade. its way more fast than using oven. and the result is also same both way/methods. i will make video my way of temper vs oven temper. hehe

This is edge quenching.
Just the edge was harden. The spine still soft. The blade would bend but not break. Easy to fix & maintanance.
