You have to have Fierceness although every time he raced 100 or more on the brisnet speed figures he bounced in the next race.😊
In fairness to Rock Your World he was hit out of the gate, Joel Rosario lost his footing. His chance was out the window as soon as the gates open
I think If Fieceness dosn't win, he wont be part of the tri, or superfecta.

Fierceness is much the best horse. With a good break, and a clean trip he wins. If he has a troubled trip it will probably happen early. Being a horse that does his best running when he is forwordly placed. I think a bad trip in a 20 horse field he'll have to much to overcome . So I would only use him on top of my tickets.That's my opinion, you should feel free to bet as you so desire.
If fierceness gets a good box I'm going to key him with all the long shots you mentioned like west Saratoga and also do you you know what tapit trice fractions from last year was can you please let me know thanks have a great day

Forever young is my pick he’s been my pick since December 2023
Same here , he s so under rated .. He s 5 for 5 and did it the hard way , the Dubia win was insane as he was 5 wide around the track the ran the fastest final 400m ever in the UAE and did it geared down.. When they open this horse up he s gonna show his true potential, He s gonna be a special horse.

@@Deznutz6969 in bloodhorse a couple of days ago they listed the top 5 money earners and forever young wasn't on the list even though he is the highest earner.
@@rick-ug3rd Thats some funny shit , they didn t even post he beat a four old horse. To be honest I hope he continues to fly under the radar. He s 10 to 1 right now which is insane to me. I m truly confident on this horses ability. He s a beast

Will do another video. Brisnet is more computer based. Thorograpg and timeform account for pace. Beyer includes class so Brisnet has less outside information- aqueduct is slow in winter so every year wood figure is inflated a little by brisnet
Really appreciate yr responds. But is that telling me not 2 put so much faith in it due 2 inflated numbers. Cause that n. Seem out of line with the rest. Or maybe we should listen and the other numbers don't see what brunet sees.

I like the point about many favorites winning many of their preps. The more I look at these numbers the more I feel like it may be a 2015, 2016, and 2018 kind of Derby. Very formful. Even the year Rich Strike won it was pretty formful if you throw Rich Strike out. The best 3 yr olds are the best for a reason. Although the Derby is a great race to play some bombs and I usually do. This year I'm not getting cute. I'll pick the logical horses in my gimmicks and key Fierceness in my pick 5 and try to win big that way rather than dump all my money on the Derby only. Again.... I usually do like adding bombs in my the gimmicks but I really won't be surprised if it's literally
Fierceness, Sierra Leone, Forever Young, Catching Freedom and Just a Touch in any order.
amazingly, contrary to everybody saying how much luck is involved in the derby. the derby winners have come back and ran big in the other two legs, even the longshots that have won the derby have come back in the preakness and belmont and ran big races. not all but most.
Brisnet is best plus thorograph pattern.

Raw times are mostly irrelevant in horse racing because of the huge variance between track speeds.

Fierceness Florida derby was an example how Johny V is going to ride him to the roses...he had to get a clean break from the crowd ...i watched the Fountain of youth replay several times to see fierceness get gut checked in between 2 horses out the gate and in the first turn...he got to third and haf no gas in the tank ...if todd gets worst gate spot ...i will need to change up my bets
Just curious why you didn t use Forever Youngs Saudi race ,Bookem Danno was given a 98 Beyer so at the very least FY should ve recieved a 99 plus Beyer and he closed like a freak and did it on the wrong lead . Just figured UI d ask, I love this channel .

@@martygebhardt5125 Its pretty simple he never changed leads . Im not sure if ur serious or messing with me . But I ll bite, so race horses run with one side then change to the other thru a race. It conserves energy . Specifaclly whn they hit the stretch the jock will let out the reigns and tap him on the other side so the horse will change the lead he s on . So ,FY came around the turn he should ve been used up technically and when the jock asked him to change his lead to get more of a burst he just continued on the wrong lead and still ran down the leader ,with an awe inspiring finish. It s not only impressive it is insane and speaks volumes of this horses grit and heart and conditioning.
Disagree with the estimate on FY, other figures have him on par with Fierceness. Also, Mystik Dan has a 101 Beyer this year.
Yes the mystik Dan number was on the the slop and it was probably the best final Al 116th all year. Forever young numbers could be better, estimates are all over the board.
What about the previous winners' speed stats prior to their Kentucky Derby run?

And you do know Encino ran a 118 on time form right? And a 8 on rags and a 2 on thorograph so how he isn’t on your list
And just a touch ran a 121 on time form US as well
It sounds like encino is not running and pointing to Preakness
5 horses that are fast enough to win! Fierceness Sierra Leone Encino Just A Touch Forvever Young are all fast enough to win with a 2 or better on thorograph!
Mystik Dan is the 2nd fastest with a .25 Thorograph fig. I believe he ran the 2nd fastest Beyer(100+) and he ran a 101 Brisnet fig.
I don’t personally buy that number it was a sloppy track and before or since he has not run anything close to that.
I go by better speed and my Dad's formula for speed which is on the money

I think Fierceness won @ 1:09 & change as a Two year old. That's flying for a Two year old ! Fierceness. gets the lead early enough.... They won't catch him !

@@willmorrisusa the outside posts in the derby are an advantage regardless of running style. the inside post for speed horses is a huge disadvantage.

according to the beyer speed figure. belally roard ran 15 lengths faster in the wood memorial than secretariat ran in the belmont. beyer is only an opinion not based on anything else. they always give higher numbers in graded stakes races than in other races even if an allowance horse ran faster than a g1 horse on the same day at the same track. absolutely worthless number.
Yes Beyer uses class a lot in their numbers.
@@derbyologist soit shouldn't be called a speed figure/rating. in 2018 on haskell day they gave good magic a big number for his win. 2 races before in another stakes race a horse won nearly two seconds faster at the same distance. this horse had a troubled trip. beyer gave good magic a much bigger number. another time they gave some horse this big beyer number and changed it drastically a couple of days later. beyer said the guy he had at the track doing the numbers was new to horse racing. how could anyone take his numbers seriously?
