  • GME Leo Giron is know by many as the father of Larga Mano in America. In this workshop segment we discuss briefly some of the theories and issues of distancing and mixed weapons that GME believed were important to be effective in applying his bladed art.

    What is the name of the long machete? Also, anybody know where to get one??

      Hi it’s called Talonason and comes from Ilocano region of Philippines Northern Luzon. It’s hard to get one we have some made recently by Kalahi custom blades.

      One of the main reasons is to help in fighting on uneven terrain like uphill or downhill. Helps to keep balance.
