I'm particularly at home with how he consistently maximizes the weight of his string tone throughout the piece. I've arrived at a very similar approach in my own work. Long unison midrange lines consistently carried by the firsts, seconds and violas is a super effective and expressive allocation of resources. In fact these days I hardly think in terms of first and second violins at all - it's just one big section. Thanks so much Pranav!
