Cool, thanks! I have a question: Several presets show a drumkit which is not in the list of the 33 factory kits. Do you know how to access these extra drumkits? I downloaded a user generated jd xi editor, but as a guitarist I am a bit lost with that. Thanks and cheers from Germany Wolfgang
Sorry, but I’ve never listened to the presets. Anyway, I think you can copy the drum patterns made with this new kit, and paste it into a pattern you are doing. Sorry, I can’t help you in this question.
The sounds in the factory sequencer patterns are a little bit different than those on a category selector wheel. In fact you have more sounds than what you think. Assign the desired patterns as favorites and use the sound copy shortcut (read the PDF manual). You are able to copy sounds between the patterns.
Yeah! Totally 80’s. Sounds just like one of my old vinyl 12”ers from back then ❤️
Sounds great. Keep them coming.
Great JDXI Sequencing! The 80's come free I believe.
Very cool! Love the Drum sound! Which one is it?
Thanks. It is 80’s drum kit
JD-Xi still strong in 2024
Every JD-Xi track needs a good vocal 😃
Yep.....this thing needs a vocoder or something 😏😉....so someone can drop some Lyrics.
This is super cool! Are the drums some samples OR are they from the synth too?
Thanks. Drums are from the synth. They are from a drum set named 80's kit.
Cool, thanks!

@@palerider_New80s_music Thanks! I'll try that! Hope to see/hear more from you soon on your channel!
@RyanMiddlehouse thanks, I’ll try

Every pattern of the JD-Xi is saved with a set of sounds. All the custom soundbanks for the JD-Xi use the sequencer pattern slots to store the sounds.
